Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things:... Psalm 98

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though... we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day my day....So fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal

hehehehe.....that is why I went to the mall before the stores opened and then grabbed McD's coffee and left before I could do such things as I LOVE to shop and do not even go there with the chocolate croissants!!! I can taste it now!

The trail is great! I would not try for a whole hour on it in the beginning, as there is some hills so it can take it out of you....it does me...though somedays I manage and I walk the whole nearly 6 miles ( that includes an off shoot) most times recently I do the more modest 3( that includes a big hill at the end) I am trying to build back up so I have been doing my gazelle glider in front of the tv...but at least it is moving! That is what counts, not where or how!

I only really understand myself, what I'm really thinking and feelings, when I've talked it over with my circle of female friends. When days go by without that connection, I feel like a radio playing in an empty room.

I'd love to find the time to exercise more but for today, I am doing what I am able.
I was walking at the mall but I spent too much money and stopped at the coffee shop for chocolate croissants. I have a feeling that when i have a free day like next Tuesday, I need to find that trail or one like it and do an hour walk.
So I will resolve to walk a trail on Veterans Day. emoticon emoticon

You need to go for it! If you ever do it during a week day and want company contact me I have no issues walking slower if need be ....or faster either, though the latter can be hard for me as my health issues cause quite a few aches and pains when I speed up.

Bike friendly! You park over behind the fitness complex, in the parking lot for Sculpture Park, but you can also park behind the UA theater at the bottom right side of the parking lot and there is an entrance there too. There are a ton of off shoots you can take to add in distance and or more hills. It is a populated trail and feels very safe and it is beautiful!

I try walking it 2-3 times a week but have not been making it but once a week as of late so am starting over...used to be able to do the whole thing including one of the off shoots , but am recently just going to the end of the main part and then turning around. I love it, it is very relaxing!
