I nearly did the same thing yesterday on icy stairs! I hope you will be back to 100% very soon.....till then, every other day lift weights to tone your upper body...even if it is soup cans or bottles of water! You will still be burning a few calories, toning up and feel like you are still in this ...also suck in your belly and hold for 10 seconds and release, that counts as one crunch , no need to get on the floor for those, you can work nearly all muscles efficiently with isometrics...so just clinch, hold , release!
I only really understand myself, what I'm really thinking and feelings, when I've talked it over with my circle of female friends. When days go by without that connection, I feel like a radio playing in an empty room.
