Morning team. Big bus trip today. Going to Lancaster, PA to a place called Sight and Sound. It's a live theater where they put on plays of stories from the Bible. Right now Noah is playing. They use many actors and live animals. We've been several times. After that we go to Hersey Farms Restaurant for a family style supper. Lord help me to behave!! If we get back in time, we may run to the grocery store for supplies for the weekend. We'll have at least one, but probably 3 DGDs all weekend.
TOPS did not agree last night, I gain 1/4 pound. Not much but not the direction I wanted to go in either. We have a new challenge for this weekend. Everyone was given a red solo cup and told that from Friday night through Monday, every time we eat something we are not supposed to, we are to put a nickel in the cup. Tuesday night they will determine a winner and they will win all the nickels. I need to be extra good anyways so this is just extra incentive.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Been super busy. I work in insurance, so you can imagine I think. Anyway, just wanted to check in. I've been really praying for all those people in OK City. My heart breaks especially for all the children. Makes me hug mine a little harder!

Morning team. Not much time as I overslept and I have to be out the door in less than 45 minutes as I need to stop and vote in the primaries then be at work by 7:30 for a webinar.
Tonight is TOPS, but I'll hit the gym first right after work.
TTFN!
The tornado devastation is unbelievable. Prayers for all.

Hello team. Another busy weekend that went way too fast. Camping turned out well. Had some rain but not a lot. It at least wasn't like the last campout where we had wind, frost, rain and snow. Went to a few yard sales. Spent $14 and came home with 2 bags overflowing. Some for me, some for gifts, and some for church. Left around 2:30 yesterday afternoon for home. Camping again this weekend for the big Memorial Day Holiday. Not far from home as I have to work the next 2 Saturdays.
I don't know how I'm going to get everything done this week that needs done but somehow it must get done. Tonight and tomorrow night I have meetings, Wednesday DH and I are on a bus trip, Thursday have to finish getting the camper ready and Friday DH will take the camper back sometime during the day. In between I need to get the church report ready by next Tuesday, tomorrow is elections and I have to be at work early for a webinar, and I need to go to the grocery store. I'd like to get to the gym at some point too. I also need to start and pack for vacation in 2 weeks. Haven't even switched winter and summer clothes yet. Aaakkkk!! Next week isn't going to be any better. More on that later.
Have to get back to work. Have a great day.

Irene - so true - we're only as young as we feel. Very perceptive article - thanks for posting it. Who is Samuel Ullman? First long holiday weekend here in Canada - cold & rainy tho. Stioll, the trees are leafing out, grass is growing - such a wonderful sight after a long (6 months) winter. Getting my exercise with yard cleanup and tilling the garden - soil is still too cold to plant, but asparagus and rhubarb are almost ready to pick.
YOUTH Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a body of twenty. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing child-like appetite of what's next, and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at twenty, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch the waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at eighty.

Hi,
Been a stressful week. Computer hasn't been working very well. Had a cold. Husband got rushed to hospital with chest pains . After many tests and an overnight, he is fine. Anxiety and over doing in the garden. Thanks goodness that was all. Glad it is Friday.

Morning team. It's finally here!! It's FRIDAY!! As soon as I get off work I'm heading for a weekend of camping. It's supposed to be a really nice weekend weather wise, maybe a few more clouds on Sunday but we'll take it after the last campout where it rained, snowed, and was so windy we couldn't do anything outside.
The supper last night was alright but if they have the same thing next year, we're not going. Turkey, (which neither of us are fond of) mashed potatoes, filling, green beans with almond slivers, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, gravy, rolls, salad, fruit cup and cranberry salad. Not to mention the deserts. I had 2 bites of DH's peanut butter pie. It was very good but oh so rich. After supper there were 2 missions people that showed video and gave a talk on their mission to Joplin, MO after the devastating tornado 2 years ago. It's amazing anyone made it out alive. We made it back home about 8:45.
TTFN and TGIF. Have a great day and weekend.
I was secretary for a lot of years in my TOPS group. I don't mind sitting with everyone else now.

I'm very sleepy today! Yesterday was so hot again, I didn't plant my veggies. Today is only supposed to be low 80's and I won't have time to do it. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, my son had his field trip today, so we had to have him at the school at 6:40 this morning. He will be back about 4:30 pm and then he has piano lessons at 5:30. I would actually let him skip the lesson, but he will miss the next 3, so not going to skip today! Then my hubby and the girls will go to the Relay for Life meeting and I have After 5 Club tonight, so it's going to be busy, busy. I also have to take my cat in for grooming today, so I hope she doesn't scratch me too much!
That's it... I'm tuckered out just thinking about it!
Have a great Thursday!

Good morning all. I managed to get almost everything done last night. Still a few last minute things I need to put in the camper but that will wait until tomorrow morning. Tonight we have a supper to go to right after work.
I did get to the gym last night. I was the only one there until I was just about to leave then a friend came to work out and we chatted a few minutes. It was nice to catch up.
Not much else today, just biding my time until tomorrow at 6pm when I'm free for the weekend and get to head to camping.
TTFN!!
Dana-I'm here. Thanks. That is good news on the toddler. Not that warm here but it's to get near 80 again today. I say about time!!!

Where is everybody??
Donna- you are busy! Your car got fixed pretty quickly. That’s good! And good for you on the loss!
Yesterday, I pretty much just stayed where my fan was. It reached about 99 yesterday and my house was at 86. Hot! My hubby didn’t want to turn on the a/c as the temps are supposed to be back in the 80’s outside, so we just suffered! Just sat in front of the tv and the fan. Maybe today I’ll have a little more energy! Tomorrow I take my cat to be groomed and Friday I take the van in to be serviced, so today, I’ll work on getting the rest of my plants in the ground I think. We’ll see.
Good news on the toddler. He is recovering and they are releasing him! God is good!!
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!!

Morning team. I lost 1/2 pound at TOPS last night and now I'm 1 pound in leeway. I would really like to lose 2 more pounds and get to my goal weight before my high school reunion next month. I hit the gym last night and want to again today as I won't be able to get there the rest of this week. We have a dinner right after work tomorrow evening then leaving for camping after work on Friday. I'll have to go for some extra walks this weekend.
After work today I'll get my car back from the shop, then I have a dentist appt. and hoagies and pizzas to deliver from a fundraiser that our camping group did. I have to go to the grocery store and finish getting things in the camper too. I'll be busy!!
Catch ya'll later.
Dana-Good going on the loss. We'll both keep plugging along. Prayers for the toddler. Hope he has improved.

Goriana- I’m with you on the hats and sunscreen. My scalp is still sore from being burned!
Donna- I love petunias and they do well here. I will have to see if I can find some Million Bells!
So the scale was kind to me last night, I lost ½ pound and that was for 2 weeks, so that almost makes up for the ¾ pound gain 2 weeks ago. I WILL keep plugging on.
Got another prayer request on another baby. This one is almost 2 years old. I don’t know the details, but somehow he got ahold of some antifreeze and they had to life flight him to a bigger hospital. Yesterday afternoon was the last I heard, so I don’t know his condition today. This little boy is very sweet! He is in my toddler Sunday school class and is just a happy boy.
I think today we have softball practice for my oldest daughter. I’m also working on getting things set up for our vacation in a couple weeks. I know it is a couple weeks away, but it just seems there is so much to do. Speaking of which, my next call is to get our car serviced!
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Morning team. Frosty and cold this morning. Only 28 degrees. We covered everything outside up last night and brought in the 2 hanging plants and hummingbird feeder. We'll put them back out this morning and uncover everything.
TOPS tonight. Scale didn't agree this morning, we shall see. Before TOPS and after work I'm going to hit the gym. I haven't been since last Thursday eve. I wanted to go last night but car is in the shop and had to rely on DH to come pick me up from work. I didn't want to make him wait on me so we just came home. Worked on getting the camper ready for the weekend.
TTFN.
Dana-Million bells are the flower. They resemble tiny petunias and come in an array of colors. You can google them to see what they look like. Sorry about the sunburn, hope it's better. Congrats to your daughter, that's awesome.

I am happy to hear about your great Mothers' Day. I dropped the ball on celebrating my mom, but I like to think I make up for it by being so awesome the rest of the time.
I hope you all that are still needing to be bundled thaw out soon. And remember wear your hats and put on that sunscreen. Please. Your skin will thank you.

Donna- what is million bells hanging basket? Is it a type of flower or basket? And yikes on the freeze. I can’t imagine people still having freezes this time of year!
Saturday’s track meet went really good except for the horrible sunburn I got on my face. I was even burned on my scalp where my hair parts. It still hurts a little today. You would think that those last soccer games where I got sunburned would teach me to wear sunscreen, but I didn’t even think of it. In fact after the track meet, we at lunch and then took the kids to the lake to play at their park. I sat on the bench some and pushed the girls on the swing some, but when we got home, I looked in the mirror and about freaked at how red my face was. I was thinking I wasn’t even outside for long. My hubby just looked at me like I was nuts, and then I remembered we were in the sun all morning for the meet. Sheesh! Anyway, my daughter got a silver medal for the 400 meter dash, a silver medal for the 75 meter dash, and a gold for the long jump. Three for three! She was pretty excited and we were proud of her!
Yesterday, mothers day went nice. The kids got me another solar light, this one is a hula girl. Very cute and I got a couple flowers to plant. My dad and my hubby cooked us lunch, hamburgers on the grill. Yum! Then went to a movie, where the manager let me in free, because I had helped him the night before working in the theatre. Then we finished the day off eating at the Mexican restaurant. Another Yum! Tonight is weigh in, so we’ll see how much effect that had. I splurged and got a daquiri, which I haven’t had one since Christmas time. It’s ok anyway. Nice day!
Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Morning team. Sunshine today but cold. Highs only in the 50s. Yesterday was very windy and some people saw snow flurries. What's up with that? Tonight they have freeze warnings up. It's to get in the high 20s. Eeewww!
Had a nice Mother's Day lunch on Saturday. Everything worked out perfectly. Good thing I got to Olive Garden early and could get my name in as there was still a waiting line at 2pm. They told me 20 to 25 minutes but it was only about 15. I left shortly after 3 to get home and pick up DH to head to our meeting.
Yesterday we started to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch but again it was a 20 to 25 minute wait so we went to Denny's. Not my ideal place but at least no waiting. Got a really nice card from one DIL and family with pics of our granddaughter in it. She also gave me a hanging basket, which we have inside so it doesn't freeze.
Today DH has to follow me to the garage that is doing the repairs on the car since someone so conveniently backed into it at work on the 3rd. It will be in the shop for 3 days because of all the painting that needs done.
Gotta run. Later. Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day.

Morning team. Work today, then before the Mother's Day lunch, I'm going back to the grocery store to try and find the hydrangeas that were supposed to be on sale this week. They were supposed to get them in yesterday so we'll see. Might make a quick trip to the mall as well to try and find a new pair of shoes.
Sunday we're going to a car show and my other DIL is bringing me 2 million bells hanging baskets. One is from her for Mother's Day, the other I ordered. I love the million bells as they bloom all summer.
Gotta run. TTFN
I wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow. Hope it's the best ever.
Dana-Good news that he's improving but you're right, he has a long ways to go. Prayers.

Donna- How fun… the Mother’s Day Lunch. I’m sure it will go fine! And good for you on the gym!
I did not plant the tomato plants last night. It was pretty cool here last night and I ended up not having any time. There was softball practice and piano practice and we went ahead and just took the kids to McD’s because they get free happy meals with a book reading program, so it was cheaper that way too. By the time we got home and did a quick pickup around the house, it was after 8 and time for the kids to get ready for bed.
Tonight is my youngests preschool program. Those little ones are so cute and Seana (pronounced like Shawna) is so excited she tells us to come about every ½ hour. Cute! My oldest daughter has her last track practice tonight. I will take her, and then some friends will drop her off at the program. Tomorrow is the track meet, and I look forward to watching her too. She is a quick little girl! Then tomorrow night I work the theatre. I’m helping close, so it will be close to midnight before I get out of there. Then Sunday, Mothers Day, normal church stuff and hopefully a relaxing day and evening!
Oh, update on baby Jonathan (not sure on spelling), as of yesterday he was starting to improve. Still has a long ways away and certainly is not out of the woods, but God is good and whatever minutes, hours, days or years he gives this baby, we all will thank Him!
Have a great weekend!!

Morning team. I had my first workout at the gym last night. I used 7 different machines, some cardio and others weight, plus some squats and dumbbells. Finished with some stretches. Felt good. I won't go tonight as I don't even get off work until after 6. This morning I did a 20 minute SP workout, plus some leg lifts, kick backs and knee lifts. Ready for the day. I think. LOL
Foggy this morning with more rain on the way. Had another 1/4 inch yesterday.
Tomorrow I have to work, then my step daughter and her husband are taking their moms and me to Olive Garden for a Mother's Day late lunch. It's the first time that they are including me in a Mother's Day outing, and they'll be married 14 years soon. We'll see how it goes.

Sharlene- don’t fret about the slight gain. Just keep working and you will achieve your goals! I’ve been working on increasing exercises and I’ve started walking to work a couple days a week. It’s only 3 blocks away and going to work isn’t usually the problem, because that’s downhill. It’s the going home that’s hard!
Donna- Our bodies are complete mysteries at times. Take the same advice I just gave Sharlene- just keep working and you will achieve your goals! The Jarod Boxes are a good idea. Our hospital doesn’t usually keep children, since we are a small town. They ship them to the bigger hospitals which are about 90 miles away. But I really like the idea. We have a place called “The Haven” where families of the inmates from the prison just outside of town can stay really cheap (like $10 for a night). They usually get a family style dinner, if they want and there is always staff to talk if they want. It’s one of the ministries of our community. Anyway, I wonder if we could do a few boxes for those children that come. I know many of them live in poverty and don’t have very much. Gives me ideas! And please… send some rain my way. The little we’ve had doesn’t really measure!
Charlotte- oh no, about your TOPS group. Are there others around? And glad you are finally thawing out. I think we are finally past our freezes that lasted longer this year!
Last night I did get to plant my flower pots. I have 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large flower pots. My youngest daughter I had let pick out flowers and I just put them in the pots. They look so pretty on my porch! In my back yard, I took out some weeds (still plenty of them left) and checked on the strawberry plants and I’m so excited because they are starting to flower!! I love strawberries and can’t wait to try ours. This will be the first year of these plants, so this will be the test whether I can grow them or not. Tonight I might work on the veggetable bed. I have a tomato plant and a yellow cherry tomato plant ready to plant and then I have 2 pea plants and a green bean plant that is small but growing from my daughter’s preschool project. And with my small yard, that is about all that will fit in that garden bed! We’ll see how much energy I have.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

hi from the once-frozen north where spring has finally arrived with its special miracles. Am enjoying outside chores for a change - mostly yard cleanup as gardens still too wet. Crocus blooming, tulips & rhubarb coming up Have to start looking for a new TOPS chapter since mine closed.

Morning team. It's another rainy day here. So far since Tuesday evening we've had 3/4 of an inch. They're calling for rain yet tomorrow and Saturday. It can just get it all out of it's system by next weekend when we go camping again.
Tonight after work I am going to the gym to start my 6 months free membership that I am entitled to after PT. Can't wait. I've got to turn this around and get some weight off if I'm going to reach my goal by my reunion in less than a month.
That's all for now, I'll try to check in later.
Have a great day everyone.

Hi team. Today I graduated from PT. I'm going to sign up for membership to use their exercise equipment too. With my co-pays that I paid there I will get 6 months free.
After PT we went for groceries.
Last night at TOPS was not at all what I had hoped. Yesterday morning I weighed on my scale the same as I did last week, and last week I lost 1/2 pound. Last night I gained 1 pound. Now figure that one out. And before you say it must be something I ate yesterday, I ate the same thing as last week so that's not it. I just don't understand it and was so mad about it last night. I'll get it off next week.
TTFN.
Dana-of course prayers are going up. Jarod Boxes are shoe boxes filled with little toys, coloring books, crayons, etc., that children can use while at the hospital and then take home. You can make them up for different age groups from infant on up. We did 40 this year, last year we did 44.
Irene-Dana, answered your question.
Sharlene-I think that's a good idea. Plus it might give everyone fresh ideas to add to their program.

I biked up town this morning and around the loop to the fair grounds..did 2 miles..Great morning out..cool, sunny and clear..The Lord is so good to us. First, before replying to people I have an urgent prayer request: We have a friend who was the youth pastor at our church a few years ago. He and his wife just had a baby, only the baby wasn't supposed to be born yet. She was only 24 weeks along. The baby boy, Jonathan is 1 pound 6.5 oz. It is a critical situation. Please, please pray for the baby and the parents!
Sharlene- glad you had a good time at the retreat. The people at my group that have attended one have always had a good time and learned things. But there just aren’t any close anymore, so none of us have gone for years. That’s too bad. And don’t worry about the amount of weight you have to lose, I have about 80 more pounds I have to lose. We just have to take little steps and reward each goal as we get there (non food, of course). My next goal is to get below 250, which is only 10 pounds away, so attainable.
Donna- What are Jarod boxes?
Irene- I know this one: TTFN stands for Ta Ta For Now. If I remember right, it originally came from Winnie the Pooh.
Leslie- morning, hope you are well.
Ok, so my hubby was better yesterday, but Monday by the time I got off work, I just felt… blah! My tummy hurt and I started getting sick. Great.. now I got it. So I went to bed by 6:30 Monday night, woke up a couple times, but really didn’t get up until noon the next day. Spent most of the afternoon just staying in my room on the computer and crocheting. Finally felt better by evening and did eat a little last night. Because of all that sleep didn’t go to bed until after midnight, but woke up this morning feeling sooo much better. In fact I walked to work today! Glad the illness is short. But I missed my son’s band concert. Made my hubby record it, so I did get to watch the recording. And that was probably a good idea anyway, so we can have that recorded for him when he gets older. I have no idea what today is going to bring. I got some plants on Sunday and they are sitting outside. We got some rain yesterday, so the plants are still doing well. I might clean up the beds today and plant something, but not sure. Depends on if my strength holds out.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Good morning all !! Gosh here it is..another week gone by and its weigh in day today..I am afraid to get on the scale..but I'm going. I have close to 100 lbs to loose..so it will be a while before I reach KOPS. I rode the recumbent bike yesterday for 8 miles..got so busy with trimming roses, laundry, and company that I didn't get my walking in..oh well..there's today. I thought I understood most of the exchange program after retreat..but last night when I reviewed the info...I'm still at a loss..not as bad as I was previously..but it is confusing to my "delicate" brain. I should think there would be an easier way to present it..so "delicate" brained people like myself could simply read it a couple of times and get it. (Sorry, but that's my complaint for the day.). So much happening this month. I thought May would be a month that we didn't have to go here or go there....but its proving to be a wild time of traveling for appointments and family. Hope you all are enjoying your spring and keeping on task..with the weight recorder at your TOPS club..excited to see your loss..Sharlene

Morning team. Supposed to rain today, and tomorrow, and Thursday, maybe start to break Friday. Ugh. TOPS tonight. Hoping for a small loss. I feel pretty good about weigh in tonight. Women's Guild church meeting after TOPS. We'll be finishing up the Jarod Boxes so they can go to the local hospitals.
My legs are still sore from the hike on Sunday, especially the left leg. DH will take the car today to get the estimate done, then drop it off at the bank so I can have it. I don't like driving his truck but will when I have to.
Tomorrow I am off. Have PT in the morning, probably the last one, then off to the grocery store.
TTFN. Have a great day.
Sharlene-That retreat sounds like it gave you some extra motivation. I never could understand the exchange program, and I've been in TOPS 13 years. I just know you'll make KOPS soon.
Dana-Yeah, I was amazed too at how well my foot held out. Now if I can get the soreness out of my legs I'll be walking on sunshine.

Good morning all you great TOPS people..I got back from a weekend TOPS retreat in McCall, Idaho..It was such a encouraging time.I think my highlight of the whole time was hearing the KOPS share their journeys and seeing their accomplishments..It was inspiring. Too, it was very educational..learning about the exchange program. We had lots of facts and hands on work involved in learning..which was so helpful..as I have had a major challenge getting it through my head how to do the exchange program..Our local leader attended with us..and she said that she will be addressing the exchange program more fully at one of our meetings to help us all. The retreat attendee's were all housed in one building..that way we got to inter mingle with everyone and become closer. I love TOPS..I feel charged..I am going to start doing the Leslie Samson (sp?) walking DVD today ..along with my recumbent biking. I want to be a KOPS..! Have a good day all of you and here's hoping you are all keeping on your healthy path..Sharlene

Debbie- hope you get to feel good soon!
Irene- glad you finally got to church (read your blog). It always makes me feel good to go and be with fellow believers!
Donna- that’s amazing that you were able to do all those steps and your foot is still feeling good!! I think you have healed quite well! (or should that be Heeled. Lol.) Sorry about your car, but at least you should be able to get it fixed before your vacation. With my luck it would happen the day before!
Leslie- glad you checked in!
I’m so tired…again! Saturday was fine. The soccer games were cold, but we were only in it for about 1 hour, so tolerable. Then spent the rest of the day just doing odd jobs around the house. I just couldn’t get motivated to do much. My hubby went and saw Iron Man 3, but by the time he got home, he was feeling bad and ended up getting the flu that my youngest had earlier the week. He didn’t go to church, so I led early worship, then came and got the kids and then went back for Sunday school. Our theatre had a charity for Relay For Life. They played The Swiss Family Robinson and E.T. for freewill donation. So, I took the three kids and let my hubby sleep. Most of us saw E.T. and my son loved it. It has been a little while since I saw it, but still makes me cry!
Today is weigh in day and then my son has a band concert tonight. I’m looking forward to hearing him with the band. He is not taking band next year, so it might be his last concert. Kinda sad about that, but he wants to take art, so I’m ok with that.
Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Morning team. The weekend was a lot better than last week. Saturday we met family at a restaurant for a birthday lunch then back to their house for cake and ice cream. I only had a small piece of cake and some ice cream. Later we went to a friend's birthday picnic. I did not have any cake or ice cream there.
Sunday DH and I went on a hike with some friends. It was called the 1000 steps of Jack's Mountain. These steps are made of rock and lead up to an old sand mine shaft. Some of the steps were easy, but others were quite difficult. You can Google it to see a picture of some of the steps. DH and I made it up then we had to come back down. You have to watch your footing very closely coming down. I had some walking poles which helped immensely. I am pretty sore today, especially my legs. The foot feels fine. Later DH visited his daughter and family while I went to a church meeting.
Tonight I will stop off at a blood drive after work.
TTFN.

Irene you are so right. The kids I have been praying for really do act better the next day. Irene you are always in my prayers especially after my TOPS meetings. I remember my friends in far off places.
The weather had be wonderful. I have been getting out and walking. Yesterday DH and I just took a quick trip to Mexico to get so meds.
Today we are going to a Street market in Harlingen a town near us. It is fun just to look around. I am up early so I can walk before we go.
Hope all of you have a wonderful Saturday.

Good morning team. Yesterday turned out to be anything but TGIF. I was at work when the landscaper who was working on the shrubbery came in and came straight for me and said I just backed into your car. I thought he was joking, then he handed me his insurance card. I just hung my head. It was his tire that rubbed my front bumper, cracked it, and peeled some paint in the corner of the fender and a small scratch in the corner of the headlight. I was just sick. Now we have to get that fixed before vacation next month. Already have an appointment to have the estimate done for Tuesday morning. Good thing DH is retired and can get it done. That's the second time my car has been hit while I was at work. The first time we never found out who did it. At least this guy owned up to it. Although there was no denying it as one of my co-workers saw him do it.
Needless to say the rest of the day was crappy. And I have to work again today. After work we are meeting family at a restaurant for a birthday lunch. Then we'll go back to the birthday boy's place for cake and ice cream. Then tonight we have another birthday dinner for a friend.
TTFN!
Irene-At least your PT guy comes to your house and does small chores. I have to go to mine. This Wednesday should be the last one.
Dana-Sounds like you have your day planned. Good luck at soccer.

Becky a member of another Spark team said one night she couldn't sleep so prayed for herself. Then she said I think I will pray for Irene. I woke up at four o'clock that morning and the pain I had had for 3 days was gone and I have been walking w/o walker a lot, well not a lot but am walking w/o it more than with it. So add your Spark friends who are in need of prayer to your list. I need more strength and know it will come with time. If you come over I will show you my scar.

Becky- yep, we ended up with about 1 inch, but it melted quite quickly thankfully!
Donna- I hate it when I feel so rushed in the mornings. I think that’s why even though I’ve never really been a morning person, I wake up about an hour before anybody else. That’s my time to do my devotions and relax and get ready for the day to come. When I’ve figured out I’ve forgotten something or lately it’s been the kids get up early on their own… it makes me grouchy all day! And good for you on the bike ride. I own a bike, but it’s been so long, I’m not even sure I can keep balance at this point. Guess I need to try!
Yesterday’s busy day wasn’t too bad. The track and field was dry enough the practice went well and my son was at his youth forum all evening. It was kinda funny though, I went to pick him up from the theatre (they got a free movie for this event) and the theatre manager asked me if I would help work the concession because he was missing a volunteer (there was a special showing of Iron Man 3), so I and my son ended up working the theatre last night for about 40 minutes. We are also working tonight, but this time I will stay to watch the movie. I’m looking forward to it.
Tomorrow is the very last soccer game. They always have a hot dog feed afterwards. That will mean I’ve had hot dogs twice in a week (Wednesday for the Awana awards night). That’s ok… it’s free. I think that’s it for tomorrow. Really need to work on getting the basement more clear, so I think that’s my task. Still will be too cold to plant my plants. Then Sunday I lead early worship and I think another fairly quiet day. Yay!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Good Friday Morning team. Another sunny day here.
I got quite upset with myself yesterday as I forgot about a staff meeting that was yesterday morning. I was 1/2 hour late. I can't believe I forgot it. They weren't upset with me, I was just mad at myself. From there on I felt like I was running behind all day.
After supper last night, DH and I took a bike ride. It was only 1 1/2 miles round trip but that was enough. Haven't had the bike out since last fall. Need to do some more of it.
Today DH will take the shutters he painted and put them back on my friend's house. Hope he's extra careful as there won't be anyone around when he's up on a ladder. I have a little errand for him to do too, he doesn't know it yet but I want him to go back to the store and get some more of those blackberries before they go off sale. I've been eating some every day. They are so sweet and big.
I'd better run and finish getting ready for work TGIF!!
Irene-My cute PT guy is married too. He just got married last July.
Dana-Both exercises are very important. Hope they help.
MOM-Yes, SP is always here, thankfully.
