Good luck keeping the steam going this time :) I also lost a lot quickly and let life get in the way in the past. Nine pounds is a great start for your first couple weeks! Amazing in fact. I feel like our story is similar so I will just say to you what I have tried to remind myself: Even when the weight loss slows down, stick with it! Don't allow yourself to get lost in a trap where you feel this is a race. We all want the weight off now, but even if the loss stops and we're just holding steady we are still doing better than we were before we got started. It sounds like your motivation is what it needs to be, and you have an awesome support system. I wish you the best of luck breaking 200!!

I'm doing this for my health first, and appearance second. I'm lucky enough to have an amazing man who I've been married to since Halloween 2011, who tells me all the time I'm perfect and beautiful no matter what, but that he understands I'm wanting to be healthy. I'm doing this for me! So that I can live a long and happy life with my loved ones. A year ago this month I lost 25 lbs in 2 months, but lost sight of my goals when I started wedding planning. Now, I've started again, only this time it's a lifestyle change! I've been working out 6 days a week and following a diet here on SparkPeople for exactly 12 days, and in that 12 days... I'VE LOST 9 POUNDS!!!
I have a lot more to lose, but I'm off to an amazing start! I feel so blessed!!!
