We have been invited to a neighborhood party (I'm bringing desserts) which will start at 5:00 p.m. I understand that the parties usually break up long before midnight, so I'm hoping my husband and I will be able to stay awake, but probably only a 50/50 chance of that happening.
I think we are doing something very similiar. Keeping it low key. We had our big night out with friends and family Saturday night and watched the Michigan State bowl game - one crazy night of partying was enough for this weekend!
Happy New Year to all!
“I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘no’ for too many days in a row, I k now I need to change something.” ~ Steve Jobs
Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. Albert Einstein
What are your New Years plans? Anyone going out or doing anything exciting? My hubby and I are staying in. I've got champagne chilling and plan on toasting in the new year with some mimosas. We will probably watch t.v and listen to music and play cards, games, or wii.

Lord help me remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I can't handle together.
If ignorance is bliss why aren’t more people happy?
