I like that.
When I get some time on the computer tomorrow, I'll set up a challenge thread for the ongoing weight/inches/BMI one. Then we can get busy on thinking of some weekly or monthly ones. I like your ideas!

The idea to start small and then keep adding to it each week is a great one!

What about running one from June to August for a combo of weight, inches, and BMI loss. We could do different challenges for the cardio, strength training, and nutrition each month or break in down into weekly challenges like we have done before. Something like eat at least 1 fruit & veggie and 10 minutes of cardio this week then increase for the next week to 2 fruits & veggies and 20 minutes of cardio, then 3 fruit & veggie and 30 cardio as an example here. Adjust the numbers how you see fit. Then maybe add the strength training with all of this for the next month to work us all back up. You could also include the water and cutting down on soda consumption which I still have maybe one or two a day for the headaches. What do both of you think?

Good idea, FRANCESCA.
I remember Cherly and I were talking about having a more-ongoing weight loss challenge, lasting for a few months. We would post our weigh ins weekly (and measurements if we wish).

We could then have monthly challenges of exercise or nutrition.

what do you guys think?

An exercise nuitrition one would make a nice change and then may be we can go to weight/inches loss for July. What do you think? I am looking forward to it as I work better with friends rather than on my own. emoticon

So far I have lost 7 pounds with this challenge and some inches as well. I am having fun with a challenge with my hubby on who can lose the most. So far I am winning!!!!! Good luck on the summer weight loss.

My team is starting a new challenge May 9th. If you would like to join an 8 week challenge here is some info.

Go Active This Summer! Join the Summer 2010 5% Weight Loss Challenge. Our challenge theme is to make 2010 the best summer ever.
