I weigh daily (although I go through periods of time where I only weigh once a week). I always take my first-weight-of-the-morning-after using the bathroom and with no clothes (like Bridget). I record the weight every day, but don't change my tracker until the number remains constant for more than a few days.

Whether you record or not, and how often to weigh is up to you. Some 'experts' (I think we're the experts on our own bodies) recommend only weekly weigh ins, others say monthly (so you don't get discouraged by daily or weekly changes), still others say daily so you can keep track of any fluctuations.

Good luck finding what works for you!

I agree with Jenn that the decision is totally up to you.

I weigh myself only once a week and only one time. I usually do this first thing in the morning before I take my shower with all my clothes off and after going to the bathroom (don't want the extra weight lol). That way I stay consistent and I don't "watch" the scale too often because then I get discouraged if I weigh more one day than the next.

it helps to weigh yourself at the same time...i prefer the morning...and would recommend the heavier to record so you do not get discouraged.

I would leave that decision up to you, as long as you are consistant. My scale tends to float a little, so I always use the heaviest weight it gives me and if you want to be sure the weight is off and wait 3 days each time, that is up to you.

I have a question. If you have a weight loss on the scale, do you record it? For instance. I weigh myself like 3 times before I put the smaller amount in my log. Should I do that, or when I see it on the scale go ahead and put it in?

Just remember..........one day at a time;-)
