Thanks for posting. I'm glad this has been requested. I, too, get a little irritated with numerous versions of the same mail-out.

i havnt gotten chain mails here too, and admit to forwarding. But the only ones i forward are ones that are ment for support and dont include a certain number of friends to send it to. Like if i get a cute poem about striving through the hard times, i will send it to my friends on here. I, also, despise these chain letters that dont even apply to spark.
I get chain mail as well....haven't gotten any here. Don't plan on sending them either. This is a place for support and encouragement....that needs to be done individually.
Thanks for sharing Babie-Jane. I get them frequently as well. :)
That's great! I despise chain mails!

This is a message from the Spark Coaches concerning chain mails. I recently received one over and over myself and it got old quick. It wasn't from this team, but I still wanted to share this message with all of you.
We've started to have more of a problem recently with "chain" messages. For example, you're asked to send something along to 10 of your friends, and before you know it you're getting this same message (or a similar one) from lots of different people.
I think a lot of these are very nice, but not everyone wants them. So we're going to ask that people stop forwarding these along- either as SparkMail messages or comments on SparkPages. Please pass the word along to Teams you're on and individuals if they send them to you, letting them know that we're trying to discourage it.
If the problem continues, we'll make a formal policy against them. But for right now, we're hoping this will help.
Let me know if you have questions! Thanks!
