At four months I would not restrict calories too much but focus on healthier eating instead. There is a sticky thread with lots of good snack ideas that might help you.
I would focus on exercise-nothing major is needed either! Just 3-4 days of a brisk walk or moderate exercise will do the trick I bet. Be consistent and add some weights in if possible.
Better yet-WEAR your baby in a good baby carrier while walking and you'll see the pounds melt off!
