I am!! I am hoping to drop this last three pounds so I can get some jeans (my first phase goal reward). I had thought that I would have hit it on Thanksgiving but my body has been doing some weird stuff lately. I keep hitting a plateau for a week, then gaining a pound or two for a few days and then dropping. I don't know what is going on. Its annoying.

I have one pair of Jeans that are my goal size. I have been big from teen years. I at one point was a 26/28 at 17. Came along ways from there. Hubby is putting little bits of money back each month so when I get to target size I get to go clothes shopping for all new clothes.

Cgreen--I completely understand the not giving up. I normally get about 2 months in and my ADD kicks in and my inner child throws a huge fit about not wanting to play this game anymore so I give up and just go back to normal. Not this time, I am sticking this out and am looking forward to my appt on Monday with the nurtionist and making sure I am doing this right.


Now on to the question for 11/24-What is everyone's goal size? For me it is a 12/14. I am currently a 20/22. So I have some ways to go.

My biggest accomplishment is the increase in energy and the fact that I didn't get distracted after 2 weeks and quit (which my husband so nicely pointed out to me).

As far as the hot chocolate cookies I can ship them if I ever make them. I am afraid to make them and over indulge but I found the recipe on the back on the mini marshmallows that kraft has started making. I will email you the recipe after Glee...this is mama's time. And the couponing I have a few free websites I print from and then sit and clip and hubby just got me a subscription to the newspaper so I will figure out the ad thing. I don't know if I want to pay for someone to clip my coupons. But send the sites and I will check them out.

Missed your coupon question...I used to do it really well. However since eating healthier I don't do it as much...I only do it for household items, kid food stuff, cleaning products. I order my coupons so I know exactly what I am going to get and how many of them. I also buy 2 sunday papers so I have flyers to write on and flyers that are clean (and two extra sets of coupons). I can pm you the website that I order from if you want :)

Ahhhh...I'm so far behind. Do I feel old...yes. But not as old as I felt a few months ago. In Aug, i litterally took 20 minutes to walk 10 feet. In the mornings when I got up or if I had sat for a long time, my feet and knees hurt so bad and walking was terrible. After the first 10 pounds I lost, the pain went away. And I have not had an issue with them since.

Favorite Superhero; Wonderwoman and Captain America...Indestructable jewelry!!! LOL

My go to snack idea:
- small packs of nuts to give me that protein/carb boost
- apple or banana with a tablespoon of nut butter or a string cheese
- cup of veggies and some hummus
- southbeach diet bar (for when I'm really in a pickle!!! Mm... pickles...)

#1 reason to lose weight: Feel healthy again. At 75+ lbs overweight after some pregnancies, I felt so unhealthy, low on energy and knew that if I kept the upward spiral, I could face serious health complications. 60 lbs down and I feel amazing! Little bit more work to do but am confident now that I'll complete my goal!

Weight loss Talk has really caused me to evaluate everything. I agree its not just the food...I have taken away from this that I need to eat for the right reasons and pay attention to what and why I'm eating. I have learned two other things this past week - 1) I eat out of boredom and 2) having any kind of baked good scent in a scentsy warmer will make me mindlessly seek out sugary treats. Donating those scent blocks to my skinny friend this weekend LOL.

Free time?...I have no idea what I would fill that with. I guess traveling.
Right now, if I could live anywhere it would be Hawaii. I am hoping like crazy that we can get Hawaii after this. I don't have any family here in NY and in spite of growing up in Michigan, I am TOTALLY OVER this weather. We have managed to hit every historical or interesting spot here besides NYC (which we will hopefully get to do before we PCS. There is way too much drama here for me personally. SO I am ready to go and hoping like crazy that Hawaii is next!

11/09/012-Since I apparently spaced a question today is a two part question....If you had all the free time in the world what would be your way to fill it and where would you live if you could live anywhere where would it be?

Me I would scrapbook alot...have to catch up my daughters since it is her baby book. And as far as living I would live in New York, close to all of my family and my husbands family but with enough distance we live our own lives.

CGreen...I am one of the lucky ones whose husband has told me flat out I would starve without you or just eat a lot of takeout. The most he makes is mac and cheese (he put garlic powder in Kraft blue box mac and cheese and called it gourmet.) I am gonna have to look for the almonds. I am always looking for new ideas. I am gonna look up the turbo fire, sounds fun.


Okay today's question---When you reach your goal weight or a major milestone in weight loss, how are you gonna reward yourself? Me at the end of this I am getting a ten day trip to IN to see family I have not seen in god knows how long with the baby.

OH...playing catch up...

GO TO SNACK - 1. Blue Diamond Dark Chocolate almonds (satisfy sweet craving),
2. 3 slices of OM Hard Salami (because I usually have fat and protien numbers to fill)

My husband is supportive. He eats whatever I make for him (he thinks he is a good cook but ...eh). Also, he purchased TurboFire for me and a FitBit so I could get a better read on how many calories I have actually been burning. Oh, and I got a TotalGym for Christmas last year but when I use it...well, lets just say it is commical at best.

My A.D.D. just kicked in and an I will have to come back to remember the other questions LOL



...Okay, Number one reason for weightloss is my family. AND my current favorite workout is TurboFire!

Question of the day 11/05/2012---So I read that a couple that diets together see better results then if only one is dieting...any spouses joining in the weight loss? Mine eats the healthier cooking I am making at night other then that nope, but he is an awesome cheerleader

Question of the day 11/03/2012--

What is the number one reason for your weight loss?
Mine is my daughter.....I want to be able to keep up with her in the spring when she is doing more then rolling around the floor.
