Omigosh! I just weighed myself and I am UP 2.5 lbs and so I thought - "I've been working out, I bet I've lost inches." NOT SO!
I know I've got to keep making healthy decisions for me and my family . . . but C'mon - throw me a bone!
Today was my Mother-in-law's 80th birthday (DH is 41) and we had a nice party at our house for her. Of course, it was a Guard weekend for my husband - so he was not there. We took Grandma Florence out for her birthday last Thursday so DH could be there. I know that it is part of the Army Wife's life to be able to keep focus and be able to celebrate family events in spite of Military Duty - but it gets old, especially on the other side of deployment!
I made an awesome cake that would take care of my calorie intake for the rest of my life - but hey, 80 is a big deal! Plus, I love my mother-in-law - she's an absolute peach!
I guess that I left a lot of room for improvement for next week and the rest of February - Nowhere to go but up!
Monday is Cardio BootCamp - I guess will just keep on trucking!
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement.
