I love her rubba sweepa items esp for my dogs and hardwood floors. It also works great on small carpet pieces. The rubba scrubba works on the couch for animal hair. My Mom is expecting me to buy 2 more before she comes back in March. LOL (She's a BO)

I use the car magnet on my microwave for laundry purposes. If it's upside down there is laundry in the wash needing to be changed.

The calendar was good but I had to go to a day planner. Even my husband started looking at it.

Her mit duster works awesome! My children love the CD's so much that they would take them up to their rooms.

The DeClutter Kit was very helpful in tackling the house. Made things easy and I also use them for Mount Washmore when I have more clothes than baskets.

I would love to buy more but 1 at a time. Good luck!

This year, I've only gotten two calendar kits, one with student stickers and one with regular stickers. We'll be using one calendar for bills and the other for everything else. We're using the stickers with our everything else calendar.

Thanks for sharing about the tools you have received.
I've had a 'shopping cart' open for the last couple days as I determine which items I'd like to order.

I've had a rubba scrubba for awhile now - and lately it has been getting a lot of use (I throw it in the dishwasher between jobs) I put in for a second one in this upcoming order.

But maybe you could tell me about the rags a bit more? -- Here in my home I already have a couple micro fiber cloths that we use on glass and some other ones similar to ShamWow for spills and such -- Are the Royal Rags really superior? I'd love to have purple rags (love purple) BUT ... Because I have what I think are comparable ones, I'm on the fence about this Flylady tool.

Here's what's in my Shopping Cart for this order:
**A Mop and refill pack (For a holiday gift for my Bro)
**The Calendar w/stickers (even though I still have stickers left from other calendars)
**The Hey Tom Dryer Cleaning Kit (this is a definite 'get this time')
**A Rubba Scrubba (for a second to have around the house) and
**The Rubba Sweeper (at $10 it's worth giving it a try)

Total - Just over $80 (but $32 of that is a gift)
Shipping will add ~$10.
It's a little more than I usually do, but that's because of the mop for my bro.

Thanks, Junebug, for answering. Like you said, a whole new wardrobe would be a big expense item. Since I am retired, I don't need a lot of clothes, but would like to have a coordinated wardrobe that looks good on me. --Anne

Anne, Yes, I got the body shape ID because I wasn't sure which category I fell into. I'm not sure I totally agree with her response. i think the tips were good. Unfortunately at the time, I didn't have the funds to add to my wardrobe (still don't). I guess I don't have enough of a fashion eye to see myself in some of the stuff she picked out for the body type she ID'd for me. Since my subscription ran out, I have been more concious of how things look on me when I do need to get a piece. As I do this slowly, I am beginning to see how some of this goes.

I have none of her products, although have considered several times ordering the rags.

Junebug -- or others -- I was wondering about ordering the Ms. Smarty Pants fashion advice -- did you feel it was worth it? Did you order the personalized one? Anyone else do this?

I don't have any of the tools. Ordering them from here is too expensive!

We sure are typical- I got to thinking I have currently and in the past subscribed to the menu mailers and for 1 season-MsSmartypants. I was getting the exercise e-mails from Jonathon (gave up while I'm not exercising much due to back and hip)and the daily notes from Pam Young -The Brat?? There are some really good one or two liners there. I'm sure I'll think of more as soon as I send this LOL

how awesome junebug that you were able to meet FlyLady and get your book autographed.

I was just thinking on that yesterday - where IF flyLady were to have a conference in my area, would I go? (was actually going to pose it to the team - maybe I still will)

Your *remembering* made me smile Bantamom (I hope to learn members' names eventually :) 'cause I remembered I also have the 'Office in a Bag' binder. I used it when I was taking college classes . . . hmmm, not sure it got unpacked from when we moved. And because it was mentioned in a previous post - I also got the doll for xMas a couple years ago.

lol, how's that for SHE-ness?

Now how could I have forgotten that I have her timers. The first one I bought was confiscated by my 14yr old when he kept missing the bus because it was too cold to get out of the shower, lol. Now he sets the timer to make sure he doesn't procrastinate too long, and I had to buy me a new one.

I have the Body Clutter Book-got it on Amazon. I had it in time to take it to Tulsa for the Women's Conference and got it autographed. I have the original CD and I ordered Eric Dodge's first Cd. I use an ostrich feather duster-not from Flylady and a not from Flylady timer that is similar to her original one.

MrsJari you mentioned the books - I had purchased Leanne's Saving Dinner, from Borders not her site - (And if anyone would like me to share those recipes, I'd be happy to)
I don't have any of her CD's either.

After I had tidied my little 2 bedroom apartment, my mom was impressed so I bought her the FlyLady book (again, from Borders) and gave it to her - which promptly got lost in her home. :

I don't use her 'official' timers - but I Use a timer almost daily - even when I'm off of the routines.

I get her calendar every year, and still need to 0place the order for this year! I have both dusters, Hey Tom Dryer Cleaner and haven't figured out how to use it, the pens & clingies and one Christmas Santa gave my youngest daughter the doll. when I opened my present from my mother, I laughed to find my own FlyLady Babydoll! so we both received one the same year. I have her old set of dishtowels with 15 minutes and I'm so proud of you and other sayings on them. I prefer them to the new ones with the days of the week. I have two Rubba Scrubbas and they do a great job on the microfiber sofa. I have a different brand of the mop, and it works quite well and is larger so it covers more space faster. I have her books but no audio things, like CD's. I don't have the time nor place to listen to them and cannot use earphones. I had the timer but it disappeared. Hmmm I'm not sure what else I have - I guess I need to use them All more often if I can't remember I have them!

I forgot I had the hey tom dryer kit. The small brush works well for all kinds of things besides the lint filter area. I use it to reach under appliances all the time. The large brush for the vent tube I have very little use for as my dryer vents directly to an outside wall, and the total length is only about 8". I can reach into that with my hand, lol.

I don't have the rags yet. Not sure if I'll get them next time I order - have seen many testimonials 'bout them though.
Been considering the Dryer snake thingy (cannot remember what she calls it, for cleaning out the lint)
I'm not sure how old my dryer is (was left here by in-laws) but I can almost guarantee it has never been cleaned out.
Will decide when I order the new calendar.

The mop is good for quick damp go-overs. I still use my broom (more often than the mop) but the mop works well for licking up coffee or choco-milk dribbles, wet puppy prints or general sprucing.
It does a nice job dry on the hardwood floors in my living room, collecting the dust bunnies and dog hair.

I've kept one refill cloth separate - and I use that (without the mop :) on the mirrors and glass top table. Does o.k. getting up streaks and smudges.

I own the calander, which still isn't big enough, but it's better than anything else I've owned. We just need to quit being sticker crazy, lol. I also own the dusting mitt which I love tremendously. We are soon to be X smokers, but in the meantime, this mitt was a lifesaver. I own the big feather duster which worked great in the rooms we didn't smoke in. I own the mop and refill pack, which I still haven't figured out how to use. (not a joke) I'm still faster with a regular broom, I just can't seem to get the knack of how to use hers efficiently. Never could get the hang of a swiffer either.

I just ordered the rags in a bag and a rubba scrubba, the rags I love, they really make my faucets shine. The rubba scrubba I haven't found a good test for yet. My dog hates it. My dryer lint filter loves it. But I haven't used it on anything else yet. I'm still trying to remember to bring the rags in a bag out to do my swish and swipe instead of grabbing a wash cloth from the cabinet. Takes a while to set up a good routine, lol.

I started using FlyLady in 2004 - since I joined I have purchased some of her items. I was wondering if other members also have and use her products.

My first purchase was the calendar (we still use, and I need to order a new one for the coming year) I liked how they included the 'I'm so proud of you' pen and clings with the order.

I also got her dusters - which I love. They've lasted these 4-5 years and still look pretty.

It's funny as I think on it, I guess I have ordered something from her shop every year, mainly the calendar but also some of the other items.

My last order (last year) was her mop and refill pack. I like how I can throw the pads into the washer - and can use them wet or dry.
I also got a Rubba Scrubba - and I have to say it does have a multitude of uses.

Do you have her tools and do you use them?
