I count all my steps for the day, I thought that it was 10,000 for health and 12,000 - 14,000 for weight loss. I try to get no less then 10,000 but also get my aerobic steps in as well. I do go on my treadclimber when it's nasty weather out.
I put my pedometer on my pjs first thing in the morning after I get out of bed! Heck, sometimes it stays on until I am getting ready to climb into bed because everyone does random steps within their living space trying to catch up with chores. A step is a step. I do like seeing how many aerobic steps I do compared to my overall total for the day. I have an OMRON that does that.
I wore my pedometer on the treadmill at the gym today. Then I started to wonder if that is really considered as part of the 10k steps. It definitely got me over the 10k goal, but is it considered cheating though, since I was on a treadmill?
