I've been so busy this month, but not too busy to walk! I just have to put all my numbers in right now. Team goal @ 31 days in May is 310,000 steps. My personal goal (since I need a one-day break each week) is 270,000 steps.

FINALLY! I'm back!
Did my first 5k today after almost 4 weeks away after plantar fasciitis. Hope I can stick with it till the end of this month.

YES, I am back on the team and ready to join this month's challenge. Last month just had too many things happening for me to worry about logging in and tracking my steps.
For May- I would like to be going beyond 10,000 steps each day and doing my best to get outside at least once a day for a walk- be it a cardio walk for myself or walking the dogs their 1 mile or more. A good trick to adding steps for me is when talking on the phone to family and friends I either pace around my home or go out in my backyard and do laps!

Got a pedometer at just the right time to join in for may :)

I'm going to aim for 7,000 a day for the first week of may and increase to 10,000 a day for the rest of the month... mainly since because I'm new to pedometer walking I'm not sure exactly how many 10,000 is :)

5/1 - 10,700 (approx) My pedometer got reset during my work shift, I knew I had 3000 on it before the reset.. Racked up another 1000 before I got off (only worked 4 hours) Tried to knock out the next 6000 on the treadmill, I walked 2 miles in an hour, and my pedometer was only reading 4475... thats including what I had on it after I got off work... with my stride length, at 2 miles I should be at 6336 miles. Not sure why it was so inaccurate, but I'm confident I got my steps in.
