My steps from 1/12 to 1/18 are: 24663, 14415, 12508, 13486, 13902, 6608, 475. These steps added to previous total gives me 267,479 steps completed out of my 400,000. I have got to get back on my feet if I am gonna get this challenge. I need 132,521 to complete so I am gonna work on it. Good luck to everyone.

I am giving myself a goal of 400,000steps per month this year. So far these are my daily steps since 1/1 in order 19035, 12195, 13748, 22197, 14298, 17312, 15285, 10820, 19240, 18795, 18497. These steps add up to a total of 181,422 so far for the month. Have a great day all.

I've been having trouble getting out and walking. But school starts in less than a week and that should help! Right now, I have no idea where to set my goals. But starting next week, my goal is a minimum of 10,000 steps 4 days a week and 6,000 steps on my 3 days off from school! Sorry I'll be joining in so late!

There are 31 days in January and at 10,000 steps/day, that equals 310,000 steps for the month, subtracting 5 Sundays (days of rest!) makes my goal 260,000 steps. I hope to do a lot better, but January is icy and snowy and cold, cold, cold and I have to be realistic.

Only just started tracking steps on Friday. Am aiming for a monthly goal of 15,5000 (roughly half of the 310,000 one would get if one walked 10,000 steps every day in January).
Fri/01/06/2012: 10,000 (actually reached at 2pm, but my pedometer reset itself and I couldn't be bothered to enter in/keep track of what the rest was, LOL!) Sat/01/07/2012: 7,629 (forcing myself to take 2000-3000 more steps after getiting home, staying up later than I should've to do so.)

Wow- 2012 time for some new goals and getting back to stepping daily with high numbers when possible. I know I was absent from these posts in Nov. & Dec. 2011 as I struggled to balance my life and working 2 jobs. I re-evaluated my health, weight, and goals and are setting small goals to get back into a daily fitness routine that works with my fluctuating schedule.
I hope to get outside when I can during the week and at least walk the dogs and go for my own walks 3 times a week. January goal to get to 10,000 steps each day and end with 310,000 steps or higher.

My goal for the month of January is 3500 per day. I will be shooting to have a daily target of 3500, not just as an average per day. This should encourage consistency....

To be honest I have been slacking. And I am still recovering from a knee injury. I want to do better but I don't want to set unrealistic goals. So I will start the year off with a goal of 5,000 steps per day.
Well........... I'm looking forward to this new year and my goal is still to achieve a CONSTANT 6,000 steps per day - or to make the 186,000 for the month.

My new goal for January is 6,000 steps a day. That's a down grade from the 7,000 goal I've had for the last couple of months. I need a little success to boost my morale.
