Hi all, I am new to the group but have been using a pedometer for quite a while so I am glad to see there is a group for this activity.
I have been tracking my steps for most of this month so I will post them here.
My goal has been to do, on average, 2500 steps per day, for a total of 77500 steps

December to date - 117467
December daily average to date - 3789.258

December 29 - 4975
December 30 - 4538
December 31 -

Guess I have passed my goal so will have to increase the goal for January.

Hoping to keep to 11,500 per day (approx 5 mi/day) for a monthly total of 356,500.
12/30 Including today, I'm averaging 13,022/day with 55 aerobic minutes/day & an average of 5.75 miles/day. I've messed up a couple of days & didn't meet the 10K goal - but all in all it's been a good month considering the reason for the season!

The end of November bombed out for me exercise-wise. So, here I go again doing my best to focus on the other factor for weight loss/management and increased health: Walking.

Decembers goal is to build up to 10,000 steps a day in the first week in December. From there I really would like to have a range of 12,000 to 15,000 average. I do NOT want to start 2012 being uncommitted with my exercise regiment. It's time to get my buttinksi in gear!

12/4/11:10875 total steps/5.66 mi/ 9540 aerobic/78 min 4laps of mall 4 staircases & 25 minute outdoor walk in the afternoon in the cold..brrrr
12/5/11:4350 total steps...ran very late today and didn't exercise. Sorry team!
