We always need to remember to be loyal to our 10,000 team. There are challenges here and much support on a daily basis. We also have team walking goals and challenges. We joined this team for the support.

I view my other interests as an addition to my original goals. It is fun to have other incentives and reasons to get out and walk. It is sort of like finding a different walking route. It makes a huge difference in enjoyment and can be used in addition to the regular walking trails.

Are you talking about 10000steps.au.org ? This is a walking site set up by a health group (government) is Australia. It has been going on for a few years. They have monthly challenges and have a pretty good step tracker that keeps a total and your highest steps recorded this year and a ranking among all walkers. My son and I do the challenges and talk about it.

It used to have teams and I don't know if there are any now. There were competitions to complete certain routes. I think that portion is gone from the site. It was too hard to keep up.
