I'm late getting started and have been awol awhile. Some emergency surgery--compounded with the Omron dying on me--kinda put me out of the loop for a few weeks.

Have replaced with a Fitbit (neat gadget) and am doing pretty good this month!

WooHoo, we've finally started to feel the Fall weather around here which always gets me moving faster during walks. Now to just find time or ways to squeeze in the extra steps as I contend with balancing my life and dealing with a part time job that keeps me stationary most of the time. I am thinking of stepping in place while ringing in people despite having cameras everywhere watching my every move- heck I might inspire someone watching to get off their butts too!

My October goal is to beat Sept.steps so 450,000 would be a good number. Also :AVOID THE HALLOWEEN CANDY CALL!

My personal goal is 400,000 steps for the month of October. This will push me to walk OVER 10,000 steps every day ... I'd actually like to get up to an average of 15,000 steps daily as an ultimate goal :)
