I'm a waitress, and I work a 6 hour shift at least 5 times per week, so I can put in 15,000 steps in a single day easy. My problem is on off days when I get a little lazy, so my goal is 15,000 steps average per day. 105,000 steps per week... that's a big number :)

*******NOTE: Due to fatigue issues right now, I am going to withdraw from this month's challenge and plan on resuming in July (with a less challenging "step count" goal). I will use the remainder of this month to get a better idea of my average daily step count, and then use that info to help me set personal "steps" goals.*******

I'm joining in a few days late (just received my new pedometer yesterday--just in time to start off the new week), but I am going to set my goal a bit on the high side to challenge myself. Even though I will be participating for only 26 days, I am going to aim for a total of 300,000 steps (30 days in June @ 10,000 steps/day). So, in summary, I state my goal as follows:

My goal is not specific for June - but for the rest of my life...10k steps per day. Now unbroken since Nov 12, 2010!! Don't expect to change the goal. My primary changes since last year have revolved around maintaining the 10k steps while also adding yoga, strength training, Zumba, and now spin to my weekly routine. If anything, this month's goal is to cut back on fitness minutes (to try to contain myself to no more than 2-3 hours of classes beyond the 10k steps). How ironic is this? Most people here are trying to get motivation to workout more -- I'm struggling to cut back as I've gotten a bit over-the-top on my fitness routine in the past few months and know I need to scale back now that I've achieved goal wt.

My goal this June is still 6,000 steps or more a day Trying for a monthly total of 180,000 steps this month. Would love to get 10,000 a day every day, but have to work on that one. May up my step total next month.
