DVT is a sign of blood clots. If a blood clot becomes dislodged & travels to the lungs, heart, or brain it can be life threatening. Surgery will increase that risk. Take faith that the Lord is guiding the physicians to the best course of treatment.
More prayers for you & your family. Stay strong!

Be careful when you pass judgement on another. Life teaches us lessons in harsh ways when we are mean to others.
First of all, thank you Team for your prayers, your precious comments, and your support. You will never know how much they have meant to me. Each time I read one of your posts, it encourages me so much. Now to the update.
Laura's surgery was canceled due to deep vein thrombosis, a blood clot in her leg. Literally, she was on her way into the OR when her vitals went crazy. The doctor is going to insert an Inferior Vena Cava filter tonight and will do the surgery either tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm not sure I understand this added risk, but that's what they have chosen to do. I'm not a medical person, but this seems too invasive. But I'll continue praying for her miracle.
With all that said, I'm again asking for your continued prayers! I will post updates when the surgery is done or if anything else comes up.
Thank you so much!! .
