I have not done any Pilates or Yoga. I just resist giving my $$$ away due to a lost of income these past few years. My husband has been ill and can't work and my employer has done a few tricks that have decreased my overall income. So, I walk. It is free. And when that gets boring enough, I have about 20 really old exercise tapes that I can dig out and do.

OK, I'm trying to kick up the cardio with intervals. Not enthusiastic yet. Any advice?

How was the hot yoga?

My gym has started PIYO...thinking about giving it a try.

emoticon I'm trying core strengthening videos in 10 - 15 minute bursts. Two today and my usual walk. It feels great.

I enjoy running but at this point I am starting out with walking. I am having some medical issues so walking is better than nothing. Hubby and I did a 3.3 mile trail today and I really enjoyed being out in the nice weather we are having.

6 weeks of strength training...still feeling a tad discouraged with the lack of inches lost. I've got 59 days until my Vegas vacation. I have reviewed my plan and upped the amount of weight I am lifting. Gonna stick with it.

I did JM's 30 day shred. It is KICK A$$!

I'm on week 2 of my return to hard core strength training. I combine high intensity cardio with heavy weights. I'm so sore...and that tells me I am giving my body a challenge. I'm bringing on the protein, too. I just gotta stick with it. I tend to get discouraged after a few weeks when I don't see results and throw in the towel. Plus, the ST makes my weight increase. I have measured and will keep an eye on that for progress.

I went to Zumba tone on Thursday, swam at the beach for an hour on Friday, Body Sculpt class on Saturday, and yesterday I ran at noon outside. Trying to decide if I want to Zumba or do a kettlebell work out here at home today.
@CATSNEAKY - Good job on Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! It's hard to stay motivated. I step on the scale every Monday morning and that's what motivates me!

I have been a lazy girl for about a year now. As a result I put back on some of the weight I worked so hard to lose. I am now doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and I'm on day two. Man, does this workout kick my butt! It feels good though. I have a serious case of the "I don't wanna's" with the gym right now. My workout had gotten pretty boring and I wasn't seeing results. I think this new program is a good thing to shake it up for me. I should be more active on here again now and I just wanted to touch base and say hello. We can do it!

Walking is the main exercise. I do some leg lifts and wall push ups too. When I remember I also use my dumb bells when I watch tv.

I run/walk on my treadmill before work. I also spin, do Zumba, and run outdoors when I need a change. I have lots of free weights, but I've not been good at sticking with lifting...I know I need to do it. I've pulled out my copy of "New Rules for Lifting for Women." Hoping it will motivate me.

What are your favorite exercises?
I like lifting free weights, cardio step, zumba, zumba tone, and jumping waves at the beach.
Maybe you don't work out...maybe you do functional fitness.
Such as mowing the grass, working in the yard, cleaning...
Whatever you are doing! We would love to know!!!
