My husband deploys. The motivation to surprise him when he arrived home really drove me the last few months.
He was SURPRISED! I don't think he really expected to see a difference.
Since he is home though, it's harder. I don't like on missing out on time with him.
I am trying to remember that I respect myself more and feel happier when I work out on a consistent basis and eat to feed my body and maintain a healthy weight.

I have seen it. I don't eat out much anymore...but it most assuredly can be done in a healthy way...and this guide helps.

My motivation is the same...smaller sized clothes...seeing those visable changes in the mirror. I dug up old pics last weekend and posted them on my sparkpage. It's still hard for me to believe the change in my appearance. Makes it very motivating to keep it up!

Cool! Thanks for sharing. I had not seen that before and I am headed out of town next week for 12 days. That's 12 days of eating 3 meals a day in restaurants - always a challenge!

Mainly I track my food and exercise on SP.

What motivates me? Looking in the mirror and seeing the changes; fitting into the next smaller size; keeping up with my hubby and family when we do things together without getting winded or making everyone stop while I rest. Also, getting off (and now STAYING off) diabetes meds.
