Spring to me in Pensacola is that day when you don't have to turn on the furnace for heat or have to turn on the air conditioner because it is so hot. emoticon

Birds, azaleas, wisteria and dogwoods! St. Patty's Day! and Easter!!
As a child, growing up in New York, it was my favorite flower, lilacs!! and their amazing fragrance :-)
Also the knowledge that we must get our yard in order :(
This year we built raised garden beds! Hopefully our tomatoes will do better!!emoticonemoticon

I can tell its spring when I start having the uncontrollable urge to do yard work the moment I get out of bed in the morning and when the birds are up before dawn. No St Patty's Day fun here, I have to work, boo.

The smell of jasmine, and the pecan trees budding out means spring is here. Plus watching the birds build their nests.

I plan on having a bbq Saturday, and having my son and daughter-in-law over for St. Patrick's Day.

The arrival of Purple Matin brings in Spring to me. They have been over head for a few weeks now. Spring cleaning is YUCK! but I'll have to do the gutters soon after the leaves stop falling.

I love your questions DAP!

Spring...getting my front porch and patio all spruced up with plants and flowers! Which is EXACTLY what I plan to do on Saturday. But I'm sure I will drink a toast to St. Paddy at some point in the evening!
