Congrats! I also have upper back pain (but due to nursing and a large chest). I like rows, either upright or using a machine, and lat pulls with a machine. Hope you find something that works and you feel better.

Congrats on stopping smoking...that's huge! You will feel so much better!

I'm sure if you check the exercises and articles on SP you will find information on exercises for the upper back.

Hi gang
I am getting back on track!! Quit smoking yeaterday joined a team for it.

tracking my food and going to do some kind dddof work out will start today still deciding what to do.

I have a question
Soes any one know good exerccised for upper back?? It is a hard place to exersize but I really need it for my posture and to relieve pain and tension I hurt it in an auto acccident in 2000
any suggestions welcome
