I have the The World is Flat - Haven't read it yet. I also have Thomas Friedman on RSS feed.
Backed op with non-fiction. Two Friedmans, one Krugman one Jimmy Carter and a Queen Liliuokalani (sp?).
* It does me no injury - for my neighbor to say there are 20 gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg. - Thomas Jefferson * There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness. - Dalai Lama
Has anybody read the book, Hot, Flat and Crowded, by Thomas Friedman? I'm almost done reading it and I think it's an absolutely amazing book. I've also read The Flat World, a Short History of the 21st Century. He really hits on key topics, like how by buying gasoline we're helping to fund petrodictators in the middle east, and that we need to show our government that we want to change otherwise they're going to continue doing what they're doing and most importantly what it will take to start a GREEN REVOLUTION and why it is a total revolution that i needed.
If you've read this share your comments here, otherwise I suggest you go out and read it. Not only is it informational but he also makes it easy to read.
