thanks sarah and william... i do recycle my grocery bags. i have generic tupperwares (like the glad containers that food comes in that i wash and reuse and also deli containers, margarine, etc) and those are recyclable when they aren't usable anymore thank goodness. i guess i will just have to stick to buying the frozen foods that come in paperboard instead of bags so that i know it can be recycled.

Most probably not. And it also depends were you live and the kind of stuff that can be recycled. In the city I live, the only place that takes plastic bags of any kind to recycle (that i am aware of) is Publix...

We do some of our own freezing in generic tupperware which is reusable, and most of ours is actually recyclable as well.

i use alot of frozen fruits and veggies (they last longer so its a better fit for my lifestyle)...
but i have a question-
does anyone know if the bags that frozen foods come in are recyclable? i have examined the bags of multiple products and don't find a triangle on them anywhere.
