I use a non-toxic, environmentally friendly product called Charlie's Soap. It is AWESOME! It gets out blood, so it should get stains out of a porcelain sink.

If you aren''t a loser, you can be!

I agree with trying to skip the bleach but if the staining is really bad, sometimes there is no choice. If you get the staining out, you can keep it up using just the soda. My mom only bleaches once a year (during her deep spring cleaning).

I buy non chlorine bleach but I try to use it as rarely as possible because it's still bleach. Plus it's $6 for like 1/2 a gallon!

ooooo- skip the chlorine bleach if you can! baking soda should work - it may need to be done more often, but i never needed anything more than that for mine.

Baking sosa is a mild abrasive and works on light cleaning. Unfortunately, you may have to do something drastic to start with. My mother has the same type sink and pours 1 cup bleach and fills it with hot water to the top and lets it soak out all the stains. She then cleans it daily with baking soda. She only has to use the chlorine bleach once in a great while.

I am assuming you have tried baking soda and vinegar... We use Shaklee's scrub stuff.. can't remember the name but it is the stuff in the tub.. it is pink. Can't wait to see if anyone else has other ideas!

My kitchen sink is white porcelain and it looks just terrible. Everything stains it and people keep telling me to buy this or that toxic cleaner but of course I won't.
Any suggestions on what to use to shine it up?
Thanks!
Kai
