Changing your filters monthly will also save your a/c unit, it works harder when the filter gets too dirty. Saves on electric as well.

Yeah, I already vacummed our filters and the ac intake vent, but we still go through at least one a month (we have allergies so have to keep the air clean).

I`ll be looking. I need to get a dehumidifier as well.

I also vacuum my filters now. It works pretty well.

I forgot you don't have Home Depot, I couldn't live without that store, its my favorite LOL
Try any home improvement store. All of them here sell a/c filters and most have a huge selection.

The ones I use are not reusable but I make them that way by vacuuming them off every few weeks. They last about twice as long this way (and I have a ton of dogs so it even keeps the pet hair and dander out)

I found some nice ones at Home Depot. Expensive but they are good. I bought two because when you clean them out, they have to dry. Just make sure you buy one that really cleans the air, they have some that all the crud will go straight through, no good. Sorry I cant remember the brand I have. Ask a sales person, they should be able to help you get the good ones.
