I am starting back on tracking... I took a diet break. I needed it. I still watched what I ate, just no logging for a while.

I was losing 1 kilo a week very consistently for 5 months. I knew it would not last, but there was no slow down, more of a dead stop. I spent the next 5 months totally plateaued. The year started good, but just stopped. I was plateaued so long I learned how to spell "plateau"! That is bad ha ha.

Anyway 22 kilos down (48 lbs to you Yanks ha ha). 10 or 12 kilos to go!

I wasn't supposed to work the gift shop today but Maria had a knee replacement so I decided to be in the gift shop instead of the surgical lounge........besides the chair is much more comfortable......lol...Anyway Beth (gift shop manager) sure was happy to see me so she could concentrate on setting out the new inventory IE: Christmas stuff.........then she sprung a 20% off sale on me...........I sold nearly $350 worth of merchandise before I left.....she took over when I left...

Feeling much better I think I am back on the healthy path.
ESMERELDA12-- I love your post about shopping for jeans. Sometimes we need others to tell us what they see as we don't always see the changes as we re losing. I can not see the difference but others come up to me and will say they can really see it. I have been working on standing in front of a mirror and repeat affirmations about myself. I pray that someday soon I will start seeing they really are true.

Fifty pounds gone! I went to buy a couple of pairs for pants to tide me over this past weekend. I picked 'curvy' cut for the skinny jeans to accommodate me thunder thighs in a size that already felt impossibly small. A saleswoman offered to bring other pairs to my fitting room. The jeans didn't fit through the thighs--too baggy. She asked me why I was getting 'curvy,' explaining "Those are for women heavy in the thighs." I said that's why I picked them and was surprised when she kept saying that my thighs are small. Then I noticed that they are. I've lost a lot of weight from there--maybe because of all the water jogging? She also kept saying things like advice about what kind of jean would give me the sexiest look. I can't believe that somebody thinks I am a woman who might aspire to looking sexy in jeans! I've still got quite a bit to lose but--wow--I guess it's showing! Weird, but I felt a little anxiety about how to shop in the smaller sizes. I don't know what to buy, now.

Stayed home Friday as the stomach flu hit. In fact it hit 3 of the 5 of us that work together. I am feeling better but still not up to par.
This week I am going to work on decluttering. I started with cleaning off a tv table stacked with papers..old mail and papers. Then I started on my desk top I think this will be a good week!
We can and will do this!

Not sure what I am fighting but have not felt well the last 3 days but not bad enough to say I am sick and stay home. I hope I can fight it off soon. Work has been very busy as the kids are so excited about Halloween. Looking forward to November! lol

Just had to share this funny. I was bringing home from school the little kinder my daughter watches. I told her I was just dropping her off as I had to so some running around(paying bills) She goes your going to run around? I answered yes and she goes WOW! you go swimming and you round around that's a lot! lol lol I did not try to explain to her I just let her think I was really doing a lot. lol lol

my short term goal is to be in the 220's by the end of this month and get off this down up down up roller coaster....never was very good on roller coasters....got sick even on the kiddie one........lol

Share your goals for the rest of the year.
My goals are:
1. Walk 10,000 steps each day +
2. Eat healthier foods +
3. Eat out only once a week
4. Drink 64 oz. a day +
5. Stay within my calorie range 1,200 / 1,400 +
6.Deep water hydro class 2 X a week
7. Shallow water exercise 2X a week
8. Keep sodium around 1,000 a day +
9. Do wall pushups starting with I on the 1st and add one more each day for a month. +
10. Do one chair sit up on day 1 of the month and add one more each day of the month +
11. Ride mini bike 10 min in the morning and 10 min every night +
12 Thigh master (arms /thighs) 5 nights a week +
13. Weigh 199 or lower the morning of 1/1/18

I went to see my Dr. for my meds check up and she was so pleased for me! She said that I had lost 55 pounds since she had seen me. I think that was1/12 yr ago She said to keep doing what I have been doing as all my blood work-up came back with no flags in fact she was really pleased with them. I do need to go in for a test to see how brittle my bones are.Since I have never had a broken bone she figures it will come back fine. Said to keep taking my B12,,D and calcium along with my reg. meds.
I really want to reach my goal of 199 before 1/1/18. 13 pounds to go.

The first few days of joining I actually gained a pound but since then have lost that, plus 4 more. It feels great to be in the driver's seat again. CONGRATS to all making progress or at least trying. We're entering the last quarter of the year and I intend to keep at this and see a healthier and lighter me on New Year's Day!

Somehow this site got lost in my list and I didn't even realize it had been so long since I was here...

It's a hot humid day here in southwest Missouri so my A/C decides to take a vacation. Of course with it being Sunday, can't call anyone without paying big time. It will be Tuesday or Wednesday before I can call the repairman. The good news is that we are supposed to be headed into cooler days.

Another good message by a guest minister this morning then our monthly family dinner which had 18 in attendance. Also celebrated the 4 Sept. birthdays.

Another good Bible study on worry...

We have had rain off and on and the smoke is gone!!! So happy!
This has been a good week as I have stuck to my weeks plan and stayed within my calorie count and as of today I am back down to my lowest!!! I go see my Dr. on the 3rd and I would love to have 2 or 3 more off. She is going to be surprised as she has not seen me for a year.

I live in a valley and we are socked in with smoke! There are so many fires and so much smoke. We can not see the foot hills nor the sun and it is hot! Many people wearing mask if they go out. Looking forward to a nice fall rain. Wish it would get here!

I had a NSV this morning--- I went clothes shopping for school and I got one 1X top and 5 L.!!!!! I could not believe that L fit just fine. I will be able to sort out several tops in my closet as most of them are 3X or 2X!!! I am looking forward to M. now lol I wish my stomach and legs would thin down. Down 3 lbs. Feeling much better with a healthier diet (not as in "dieting", but as matter of food choices). I spent quite a while Sunday shopping and prepping for this week. My husband is completely on board which makes it easier.

We went out to a local farm and bought fresh tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, fresh peaches, corn on the cob and a Hermiston watermelon. I had a tomato and cob and oh nothing taste better.
Will cut up the watermelon tomorrow so I can take a serving out at a time
I love this time of the year!

Sorry I have not been on here posting and encouraging all of you.I got word that a Cuz is real bad. They discovered that half of his heart is dead. He is now home just waiting for his time to come as there is nothing he can do. Then yesterday I got word that another Cuz passed away. I so want to get this weight off to help keep me healthier. Of course the last two day I ate with out even knowing I was eating and for some reason I was craving salt! I pray today will be better and that I will pay more attention with what I am eating.

Two weeks ago I gained three pounds, so I didn't record it. I finished this week by dropping one of those pounds. The weight loss is not reflected on my tracker, but I feel the victory. I am back on track for losing one pound a week. 201, here I come!

808ISLANDGAL-- You are doing GREAT!! You are where I wanted to be by now but I just can't seem to hit the right path. I am changing up my exercising. 2 swim classes 2 nights a week. The 3 days I am doing 2 walking videos and using my mini bike. I am sticking to low/mid calorie range in hoes to shock my body into letting go. I have 13 pounds to lose to hit onederland I will do it and so will you! Keep up the good work.

Me, I just lost another 2lbs and I'm remembering how great it is to be on the winning side.

I've got to have a good plan in place for the semester though. I am the administrative support for the art department at a college and besides theatre and drawing and fashion, we have the culinary department. Yes, I work within feet of a building that is right out of Food Network - 4 full service kitchens, an open-to-the public fine dining restaurant, a bakery and a candy lab. And, the students love to bring over their creations to show off. My boss has gained 50 lbs in 2 years, and I've gained 40 in 3. I'm telling you the smell of fresh bread and whatnot wafting into my office non-stop is a challenge as is those eager faces just DYING to share their goodies with us. I think I'm going to get a sign for my desk, "Don't Feed The Admin"

Yesterday I caved and had exactly one fork full of this amazing sesame noodle salad. It was all I could do not to dive face first into a whole bowl but I said, "This is terrific but one fork is enough. Thank you." Now .. to practice that!

Family just left to head back home. Now I need to do my daily list AND get back on track. They were here 5 days and a lot of getting together and eating out and sitting and visiting, driving to the coast and.... I wanted to shock my body but this might have been to big of a shock but we will see. I know way to much sodium as my feet hurt when I push on my shoes.
Here's to a great Tue and back to the pool tonight and calorie range and now it's time to start getting ready for school.

This week I drove myself crazy with the scale. In the end I lost 1 pound and I am so happy. I am happy because I lived a life this week. I went out to lunch with my friends (check for calories on menu item before I went out) and last night I had dinner with my family and I brought dessert which made sugar free and with fruit. I am looking forward to this week.

On my way to my new normal.
