So even though I had to adjust my weight for our City challenge; I have to weigh in today for one of my Spark team challenges; already down .6lb; at least going in the right direction. Wednesdays are my official weigh in because I don't think the City weighs us every week. Have a good day!

Our City challenge has begun; I adjusted my tracker so I can start from zero lost again. Last year I lost 40 for the year; this year has got to be better; 70 to my goal weight. The city challenge is for the upcoming 14 weeks and the winner last year lost 30 pounds...that's the number to beat LOL.

Della, I would like to know more about those teams. Would you please supply the names. I would be thankful.

Saintbernard6, I love the things you post.

I am working on a new me for this new year. The weather here this morning was 21 and tomorrow it is supposed to be around 57 and 60 and then 63. Pneumonia weather. I am keeping on everything I have been wearing. I am taking no chances.

Not much for me right now. I just left the gym and am sleepy.

I joined a fiber team for a 30 day challenge and one for 21 days for sugar in2016 . If you are wanting to work on these you might check them out. I got a lot of help. I might try them again next month as I get back on track. Taking it one step at a time.

our starting weight is close to the same....and I feel good about 2016 too. Today is my 7th day of no sugar, clean eating, and giving up diet coke which is major for me. I feel so much better already. We can do this!

I love reading all the post!
My goal for the next week is to get back up to taking 11,500 steps a day and to start tracking my food. I really want to see my weight go down at least one pound this week. I will not go back swimming until the temp gets back up to normal don't want to get sick again. So here we go a new year, a new start and new us One step at a time!

I was working on this 1 pound a week last year and I was doing well but then I got sick and completely got off my schedule (just excuses I know) But I am going to try again. I was swimming during the summer and have been considering joining the Y also (so expensive) But I could probably afford it if I use my junk food budget. lol

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I had done pretty well last year until the last three months where I was stagnating. I have some new challenges starting up and got some new gym equipment down stairs. I should be able to get started - at least I no longer want to lose 100 pounds; now more like 50-65.

I have been on SparkPeople for over 5 years and this fall is the first time I didn't check in for weeks! I missed it, but lost my job and started consulting which has been stressful. I didn't care about tracking anymore. Now I'm adjusting and I really do care again.

I started tracking yesterday, talked a couple co-workers into 2 short walk breaks, and stayed within my range. I feel like it was a great start!

I am back and I am feeling a little better. It's been a real hard month and so looking forward to a new year and a new start.
My health issues are working out but along with being sick I got word that my oldest brother has passed away. His wife chose not to let anyone know for a whole week! So have not only been fighting being sick I have a lot of grieving going on and a whole lot of anger. But life goes on so here I am ready for Jan.1 and a new year and a new start.

I do say away from salt since I have a salt intolerance but this was ham which was quite salty---didn't eat much of it then but we have boiled it several time since so it is quite flat now......lol

Getting very nasty here with icy rain and now snow on top of it so most likely I won't be getting to church in the morning if they even have service. There are a lot of cancellations already.

Congratulations on the loss. Especially this time of year it is even more difficult than it normally is which is hard enough. Way to go

had a loss at TOPS this morning just a small one but I've been on 7 days of predinsone and 2 weeks of barely able to walk.......leg is much better today,,,,,,,,about 90% now..

I saw your post today and wanted to touch base with you. I noticed your goal gauge and saw how well you are doing and wanted to congratulate you on all those pounds lost. That is a huge endeavor. I do hope you are feeling better and you can boot out that nasty old cough because you are doing fantastic in other areas.

My heart Dr said all was going fine.He did have to cut my bp meds in half as my bp was dropping to 80/40 after taking my normal amount. I have a real bad cough it I feel like I am coughing up a lung! I went back to work Monday and Tues. but could not do it today. Just really worn out from all the coughing. Two days left until vacation so will try and make it tomorrow if we have school. We had 2 hour delay this morning because of the ice. It never did get above freezing today and now we are having a lot of down trees and broken trees. They say it is going to snow tonight so will just wait and see what morning brings.
I want to welcome those that are new and hope to be here to support each and everyone one of you.. Please take it easy and remember one step at a time, one pound at a time.
