Rebekah, glad to see you back. Continue on your journey of healing. God has a plan for your life. You need to take care of you also.

I have a praise report as my arms are feeling much better. I thank God for the healing and release of pain. He is the author and finisher of my faith. Only He was able to get me to this point of being able to have a better range of motion. I thank Him for the thought process that made me change how I use my Fitbit. I was sleeping with it and one night said no. I have not had the horrible pain since. Thank you Lord for your divine intervention.

sorry I've been missing from here... started going to an online overeater's anonymous meeting at 7 each morning and sponsor has me doing a food journal along with other journal and addressing a bunch of childhood issues that led to this disease of mine... it's takin up so much of my morning time I don't have time to come in here much but wanted to let you all know i'm ok... still on my spiritual journey of recovery... and am grateful to be back in oa... There is a fabulous website called Daily Bread and it has some of the most wonderful and inspirational poster type things I have ever seen. I am new to SP-just in week one-and if I could figure out how to post the pictures in this thread I would...but I'm a techno-retard so can't do it. But they also have a prayer chain. Give it a look when you need some spiritual inspiration! My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 "And we know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God and are fitting into His plan."

I really enjoy the scriptures that you share. Phil 4:13 is one of my favorites. In fact, it's a long story, but I cried one time when someone called me the lady with MS. Now I embrace it...I'm the lady with MS, the Master's Strength....and really we all have the Master's strength available to us. I like Joshua 1:9:

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Good evening All

Prayer is a wonderful thing. I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13). I use this as my daily reminder. I have had and still have some challenging health concerns this past year. First foot surgery, rotator cuff tear, and tendonitis. the tendonitis is the worst for me as it limits my mobility and I was very active and doing for myself. I now am needing some help with everyday chores, dressing myself.

God allows me to do all I can do leaning on Him.

We all come here for an uplift and many (most) times we get it. Keep visiting this site knowing there are others who are praying for you in whatever circumstance you may have. MY GOD IS AN AWESOME!!!!

Keep the faith and miracles DO happen.

This site has been fabulous for my husband and then myself when he passed. There are a lot of things you can do that your body or doctors do not think is possible. Miracles happen everyday. My husband lived 2 years more than predicted, he learned to walk twice after being labelled a quadriplegic. God works in mysterious and wondrous ways. I will pray for you and the help and encouragement you need to do this.

I feel exactly the same way. I do have a major praise. It may sound ridiculous, but I have MS and my mobility is limited. I actually went to Walmarts today and didn't use the wheelchair. Unless you've been there, you really don't know what an accomplishment and praise that is. By the way, I'm 55 and my mind tells me that I can do a lot more than my body says I can. I'm trying to not get discouraged when I read about workouts, exercise, and cardio training. Let's keep each other in prayer.

God Bless Mother & child, they will be fine. I am one of those who have no problem conceiving, I just cannot deliver vaginally without placing the baby's life in danger as well as mine..It was recommended that I never conceive again. But C-sections have come a long way since 1979. Enjoy your new baby.

Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to this group and saw this forum. I live in the Oklahoma City area and they're calling for severe storms with potential tornados for the next three days. I'm sure most of you have seen all the devastation in Moore from the May 20th tornado. Would you pray that we not have any more bad storms or tornados? I just don't know how much more our area can take. I have a co-worker who's house was badly damaged but with a generator she's been staying there in 80 degree + weather with no air conditioner. She's doing fairly well but it's certainly challenging. I would appreciate this so very much. Thank you!

Haven't been here lately as I've fallen off the diet wagon. Feeling a little down about it but getting myself back. At times I attend various conferences there isn't much to eat without costing a fortune and I just cannot afford those costs at this time. I try to pack snacks and small sandwiches but they just go by the wayside.

Jill, I know God is blessing you to be a blessing to someone else. Your lungs will get better. Keep the faith and do not turn from God's unchanging hand. He has the answer to your fears and concerns. Just continue to trust in Him. Take each day slowly and do what you are able to do as Jesus is the one who gives you strength. I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me.

Rebekah, your Cd will be awesome. You have been waiting for this day for a long time. God has given you the songs to produce to help someone on this journey. I hope your family is getting better and will soon accept our Savior as Lord. In the end, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Hi Sister Rebekah,
Hopefully I will get some results after June 28. I'll be seeing a lung specialist, it's just I'm so tired all the time and choking to breath. On a good day I do try to manage around the house and yard. But the cycle starts all over again. I'm taking one day at a time and Praising the Lord. He is my divine healer. Halleujah

Yes, please even if you don't believe in the power of prayer think of all the Oklahomans that have been involved one way or another in this disaster. So much has happened to us in the past 6 days, and we are still looking at storms coming at us.
We went from Tornados to Floods.
My family was blessed we were not hit but we did have one forming over our house. Now my 4 yr old son is afraid of any storms. Most children are going to have some type of issues because of this. Some children a lot more than others so please keep the state in mind as we rebuild.

Urgent Prayer Request:
Retired Marine Richard Ainsley and his family are in dire need of prayers....they just lost their home in a tornado in Oklahoma. Richard has sent his family on to others for safety, but has stayed on in Oklahoma to help with disaster relief help for other victims of the storm. Please, please pray for this former marine and his family as well as his selfless acts of kindness and all of Oklahoma.

Christine - Welcome to this site. God is an awesome God. Russell was entrusted to you by the Almighty Father. Blessings have been bestowed upon you as his mother. As you sit and watch Russell in ICU, thank God for the opportunity to see him get to the stage he is. All things happen for a reason. God is the ultimate finisher of life. Prayers are being said that you nor your family will suffer more than you can bear.

The pain of watching someone suffer is greater than we can imagine. God only gives us as much as we can bear. Continue to hold up the banner for Russell.

Continue to spend time with your other family members. They need you also.
A portion of James 5:13 states "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray." Prayer is the answer to many of our problems as God has promised we WILL have tribulation. Continue to pray as God does answer prayer.

Hello Christine, my name is Donna. I am new to this site. I wanted to say that you have been blessed. You did not make Russell unhealthy. I believe God makes all kinds of blessings, if Russell was not meant to be exactly as he is, he would not have been born. I know sometimes it is very hard to except this life, but I do believe without any doubt that God does not make mistakes. He blessed you with Russell for a reason, just try to except & be thankful for every second, as none of us are promised a day, a week, a year. Trust God's plan for you and Russell. What about your other children, have they learned thru this life experience? To be patient? Compassionate? Unselfish? Please take care and I will say a prayer for you & your family.

Hello anyone who will listen !!! posted in another group and got 1 response , to touchy of a subject I guess.
my name is Christine , 18 years ago I gave birth to my son Russell .He is a compassionate sweet young man. we have seen him through 23 open heart surgery's , with more in his future , at least every 5 years. this year we had 2 in November and again in January. His prognosis is 16 to 20 years old , his condition shones complex / syndrome it is rare 100 cases in the world, so now I suffer from ASD /PTSD due to all the awful things I have seen staying by his side every minute while he was in the ICU. we have spent 3 years of his life at Boston Childrens Hospital. I was About 135 pounds before I had him . but it seems the constant stress hormone my body releases makes it hard to loose weight I am at 225 pounds and want to get healthy so I can continue taking care of my blessing of a son , and my 3 other children . most days I can not get out of my chair , curled up infront of the tv while Russell is at school , afraid this will be the day. my imagination goes to awful places , I wish I could have made him healthy !

lord... thank you for a beautiful sunday and a smile returning to my life... thank you for your gift of music that comes alive in me... it is a gift I cherish that is helping me thru the pain of losing dad... i'm glad I will have the opportunity to honor his memory with this upcoming cd... thank you for tiger's win at sawgrass yesterday and a really good day with peyton... please help me use the strength I get from you to get myself back on track... it is time to get back to the effort of getting healthy... and please help me be a kinder gentler me today... with people and pets... you are the light in my life... help me look always to you... in jesus name I pray... amen...

sunday mornings I always wrote to dad... may write to my sister today instead... or just my journal... did get some really good news... with the money from dad I will be able to get a cd produced and therefore my songs copyrighted all in one fell swoop... which means I can join a writer's guild and not have to pay $65 per song but just a one time fee of $35 once the cd is done... start recording in about two weeks... means I have a lot of practicing to do...

thank you lord for the gift of music in my life... the songs about dad are helping to heal the gaping wound... and now I have a way to honor his memory... without you I wouldn't be here... without you I wouldn't have the songs... thank you lord for this bit of sunshine... maybe I can smile a little more today...

Welcome to the two members of the team. What a blessing to have you with us.

God is an awesome God, He reigns in heaven and earth. Whatever you stand in need of He is able to supply. We are just impatient and want instant gratification. How selfish are we? Today I received the new pillow I need and hopefully can get a good night's sleep. It has been hard but I thank God anyway for the opportunity to awake each morning with a new lease on life and perspective.

It's a clear day, sun is shining and I have managed one day on a new lifestyle. Catching on a bit what Spark is all about. Trying to be patient about that.
So thankful that I am able to walk my dog in this beautiful area, I look around and see evidence of God's glorious creation.
God IS in the ups and downs. Sometimes not always evident, but His promise is I am with you.

welcome to the team county jubilee... I hope to be more myself as the weeks pass... just sorta lost these days... I watched dad leavin a little at a time for 6 years but never expected his death to leave such an empty spot... cant seem to get past it... so glad for the lord to lean on... i'd really be lost without him in my life...
