I need to get back on track - I am using the 1st of the month as my starting point and want to dedicate myself to losing 2 pounds a week through September. That is a diet - not a change in lifestyle, which is what I have been doing. The problems with the change of lifestyle, which I will continue, is that my body has settled into the new lifestyle. Now I need to lose some more weight by eating less food and getting more exercise..........I really want to get the weight off!

Hi Everyone - I had to get that off of my chest. I am fine now emoticon

Lots to do on this Labor Day - Hope everyone has a good day.

Quote from a blog - "You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however."

What a glorious spectacle is that of the labor of man upon the earth! It includes everything in it that is glorious. Look around and tell me what you see, that is worth seeing, that is not the work of your hands and the hands of your fellow, — the multitude of all ages.

Well, it's September now so I don't feel too badly about posting a non-message post here. The truth is, I just wanted to see my ticker again! It's great to be running toward the goal. I still have a ways to go, but it's nice to see how far I've come! :) Happy first of September, everyone!

Restarting the 90-day Body Revolution program 8/24/13. This high-intensity interval training and correct eating is so right on! Really motivated to complete the program this time, get in the best shape of my life, and make tracking, eating right and regular exercise part of my life.

MaryAlice. I thought Duke was only visiting. (We get grand puppies as well as Grandkids for a day or two every now and then.) I am sorry that you have to deal with finding him a new home. That is never easy. I hope this goes smoothly for you.

Not feeling the best today. Maybe too many days in a row of off schedule, both with food and routines. I hope this is all it is. I have a bad stomach ache and feel utterly exhausted even though today was church and visiting with friends at a annual Sportsmen's Club picnic. Early to bed and hope tomorrow is better. emoticon emoticon

emoticon JOROING - This is a good team.

Nice day today - Church, went to neighboring town afterward to do some shopping, ate at Applebees (Had chicken and Shrimp with green beans and potatoes) Haven't checked the count yet but I had to put 1/2 in a doggie bag as I couldn't eat it all. Never did that before emoticon

Had some ice cream on the way home but that will be it for the day. I am not saying I did great but I sure had a good time and probably didn't go over too far. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new week and a new month.

Hope everyone continues to have a nice long weekend emoticon

I've had a couple of BUSY days. Spent Friday with one son and DIL, their 3 kiddos and second sons 2 kiddos at a zoo/amusement park. That made 5 kids 8 and under. It was a blast but ate way too much off plan - corn dogs, McDonalds, etc. So too many calories but we were walking almost steady from 9:45 until 4:30. Today was a wedding and celebration. I ate reasonably but with a couple of drinks thrown in, I am at calorie max. I have read that of you are at a plateau you can shake it by eating more. this is certainly going to test that theory. Wishing all well. emoticon

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! I work Monday through Thursday so this gives me a lovely 4 days off emoticon

Mary Alice, I am glad things are working out with Duke. My two little rescue Chihuahuas are great - I can't believe how much I love these doggies already! Polly - the long haired one - has been going to Dog College. I took her there because she needed to be socialized with people and other dogs. She is wonderful with DH, me and our other doggie Peanut, but I think she may have been abused in the past. Polly and Peanut, however, get along very well together and are good company for each other when both DH and I are gone.

Well, I hope everyone enjoys the last hoo-rah of summer! Personally, I am looking to the fall - which doesn't really happen here until at least mid-October. I've just had enough "hot" weather for a while I guess. HAPPY LABOR DAY TO ALL! emoticon

God be thanked for books. They are the voices of the distant and the dead, and make us heirs of the spiritual life of past ages
William Ellery Channing

Good morning. Yesterday I took Duke to the vet. His appt was at 1:30, we didn't see the vet till 3 and gt out at 3:30 That is why I prefer morning appt, but right after I got there a lady came in with a yorkypoo puppy she didn't think was very sick, but her grandchildren thought should go to the vet and as I left I heard them tell her the puppy had come though surgery fine and was in recovery. If it saved the children their puppy I have no problems.

Duke did fine. There where times he sat so close to me he felt like he was trying to push into my body. He made me proud. he walked up to people, sat down in front of them and waited for them to hold out their hand before going up to them. No jumping.

DH is afraid of Duke and has begged me to get rid of him. I do have a problem with 2 big dogs, so I told the vet I needed to find him a new home. She said he was the kind of dog lab rescue loved and got me in touch with 2. Lab rescue was glad Duke was neutered, had all his shots, was on heart worm meds and I had him in a safe, if not ideal place. I can't let him in the house. They said prospective owner would love that he was learning to walk on a leash, he still pulls some, but knows beside me, ok it isn't heal but that is what I learned, and knows the basic doggy manners.

Good morning, everyone! I hope everyone has a great weekend and Labor Day.

I have been reading "Choose to Lose" by Chris Powell, a great book that has information about firing up your metabolism with carbo-cycling and avoiding diet plateaus. I definitely recommend it. He is the trainer on ABC Extreme Weight Loss.

“Real courage is when you know youre licked before you begin, but you begin anyway.”

- Harper Lee

Good morning, Yesterday I gave up and told my DH I needed to go to Best Buy. DH loves Best Buy and took me right away. My new phone is made by Samsung and Samsung has a store in Best Buy. The said when the phone company moved my info from the from the old phone to the new phone they only half did their job, and that is why I couldn't do the things I want to do or find the thinks I was looking for.

I'm Duke to the vet this afternoon. The 1st I give Mutt his heart worm meds and got to thinking, I don't know when Duke got his. I called and he should have had his the 26th, but she was out of his meds, had an appt for the 28th, but was moving and didn't take him. She said he was to get his 1 year shots then. She didn't know where she had packed his records, and couldn't even remember the name of the clinic.

Good to see you on again Pam. Even if it is only for a little while.

Mary Alice. I bet moving again is really stressful for Becka. Since her mother threw away so much of her things I guess she thinks that is what you are supposed to do.

Question please? Has anyone had trouble with Spark notifications going to your delete box in your email? I kept wondering why I wasn't getting certain newsletters. I finally started looking at my delete box and here they all are! I have checked all the settings and they are all OK.

Have a great rest of the day everyone.

More progress is made by attacking problems than by attacking people.
Harry Scholefield

Good morning. I woke with all kinds of plans for the day, walking the dogs, Duke needs a bath he is a muddy mess. Then they went down the drain. My feet are killing me and I don't want to move.

I talked to DS last night. Beka was already in bed, but I asked him how she was doing. He said that his wife keeps asking her if she wants to call me and Beka get all emotional and runs out of the room. He said Beka might not be answering my letters but even if it is just a post card, she gets all excited. DS says he is seeing some of the things I had spoken about and he just couldn't under stand. One is she has no attachment to things, does't take care of things and thinks nothing about leaving them. He said they are moving to a larger apt, and said she thinks you move by just throwing a bunch of stuff in the car and if it got lost or left behind you just got another. She doesn't understand packing at all and her mother moved her often.

I took my phone in yesterday. They said my phone was working fine at the time, but what I was describing was the beginning of the end. They said it might completely die in a week or so and might hang on for 6 months, but wouldn't be reliable.I get off work at 11P and have to drive country roads with no street lights home and there aren't even any pay phones. I wouldn't feel safe. I wanted another stupid phone, but I had a choice between a flip phone and a smart phone. I can't text my son on a flip phone so got a smart phone and spent an hour trying to figure out how to make a call on the stupid thing. I will admit that when I figured out how to text my son it was easier. One of the ladies at work said she wanted to get a phone so her middle school son could call her after football practice and didn't even have the option of a flip phone, They kept telling her they could sell her the data plan so her son could get the full befit of a smart phone.

Hi all, I've been absent for awhile ... some of you visited my SparkPage ... that was nice. Good to see you there. It's been a busy fall what with wheat harvest and then oat harvest. Plus, I've been canning and freezing ... love to see the freezer and shelves fill up with such goodness. Hope you have a wonderful day!

After I posted this I went back and read some of the entries to just get caught up with you all a bit. I decided to edit my entry after reading KChandler's post on nothing working for her ... I haven't been able to lose weight since last December. I've tried all kinds of "diets" and exercise and new pills suggested for hypothyroidism, but nothing has made a difference for me. I gave the scale away a few weeks ago as it just made me crazy. I do measure but haven't for awhile. I've been to the doctor and will be going again this month to get my levels rechecked. I'm going to have him check the leptin levels this time. It's thyroid with me. As hard as I try, I may never lose. I did check out the thyroid team but didn't really find any help there. I'll just keep exercising about 30 minutes a day and watch the calories. Sometimes there is nothing that you can do ... it is just the way it is.

Sunkabillie. I bought Spark Solutions for the I-pad instead of hard copy. I miss being able to jump around and scan from section to section. I also find it hard to follow but then I have blamed that on my reading style. I must try to read it again. Thank you for being interested in my opinion. Sorry about whining. I'm not really like that at all & that's all you have heard from me lately. I am losing inches, so I know "all is not in vain", but ....well, you know how hard it is when the scale doesn't move.

YWHITE001 Thank you for putting things back into perspective. We are blessed.

YWHITE001 - Your message is well put and one we should remember. I think it is always important to remember how blessed we are as we take the mundane things for granted.

I own a vegetable garden business where we grow a 4 acre garden - lots of activity, lots of lifting, weeding, and walking but I cannot seem to move the scale numbers down - HOWEVER - and this is my point; I moved into a lower size jean and they are incredibly comfortable now - Almost loose.

I think we measure success by the scale when maybe some other measuring tools are also important. I cannot throw my scale out however because when I have done that, I gain pounds. I am just not as accountable.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Karen

I agree that you should check your measurements. you may be losing inches but not pounds. Lean body mass (muscle) is much more metabollically active than adipose tissue (fat). So, when you start building up muscle tissue, it requires more oxygen, which requires greater blood flow, which can mean a weight plateau.
I think mixing up your activity is a good idea, but try to be consistent in getting in some activity every day. I just read Al Roker's book, Never Going Back, from the library- he hated cardio, had more success with a slow weight training program he called PhysioSlow- 30 minutes 3 x per week. Maybe that would be something to look into.
No matter what, look at what you have already accomplished- down 15 lbs! That has to feel good. Can't wait to be there myself!
One last point- I work at the Cancer Center at Strong Hospital- no matter how bad your day is, I can guarantee I could find a patient having a worse one. If we can still swallow our food, let's count our blessings!

Morning Everyone, Try not to get to discouraged KCHANDLER623. I wish you best of luck. Maybe you should just hide the scale, take your measurements then track your food to stay in your calorie range as well as just exercise.
Don't forget that eating to little will signal your body to conserve calories. You might check with your doc to see if there is a reason also, such as thyroid.

Hi! I took some "time-off" the last 2 weeks and discovered that while I did gain a little I was not overeating, even without tracking. I'm not sure what I need to do to get the pounds to come off.

I've varied my exercise routine from almost nothing to really quite an exhausting amount, with most in the middle somewhere. I've eaten more (and less) to shake things up, but no.... not that either.

I so want to lose the weight and be as healthy as possible without turning into a crazy, obsessed person. I've considered hiding the scale and just go with NSVs.

BTW, I checked The Spark Solution out from the library. I guess I'm a picky eater, but I wouldn't/can't eat a lot of the menu items. I was sort of confused by the exercise recommendations too. They seem to assume you belong to a gym and have home equipment too.

I just don't know what to do. Am I overthinking this? emoticon

Hi Jeannelle 1! I also ordered the Spark solution book. Are you able to follow the regimen? In some sections I found it to be overwhelming but I like the way the book is set up. What are your thoughts?

Alice Thinks Sometimes Maybe Perhaps

Good morning, Last night my phone went nuts. First it wouldn't turn on. I took the battery out to reset it thinking it needed rebooted. It turned on and seamed to be fine, so I put it on my pocket and took the dogs for a walk. I heard it clicking while I was walking, but when I called DH it worked. This morning it said my memory was full. I checked my pictures and there where 30 some pictures of the inside of my pocket. I'm taking my phone into T-Mobile today. I think I know what they will tell me. They have been telling me for years that I need to update. I kept telling them "it works why do I need to update" well I guess I need to get a new phone. They still won't be that happy. I want a phone that rings, you answer it. I need to be able to text the teen age grandchildren, they don't know how to talk on a phone. That's it. A stupid phone is fine, I don't need or want a smart one.

Last night while I was walking DH called and said the power went out and would i check with the neighbors to see if everyone had no power or if it was us. It was about 8. I checked around and no one had power. I was told someone ran into a power pole and it would be 10:30 before the power came on. The temps were still in the 90's, I was out walking, since we have a well no water for a shower and I wanted to go to bed early. The power didn't come on till 11:30 and I was asleep in my chair.

Rice should do the trick.

Put it in rice so hope it will help.

MaryAlice. Your posts make me respect the employees of big box stores even more.

I wonder if Mutts change of behavior (climbing on your chair) is a sign of jealousy with Duke there. He just wants to be close to you (your smell) when he can't get to you. Or maybe he has just discovered how comfy it is. emoticon

Alice Thinks Sometimes Maybe Perhaps

Good morning. I'm off today, but work tomorrow so trying to get up and get something done. Last night we had a mess in customer service. Yesterday was the first day of school and last night I had all the parents returning school supplies they thought they needed, but really they got the wrong thing. I saw that when I had a buggy full to go back on the floor and rolled it to the front of CS to be picked up the parents were all gathered around it to see if I had what they needed, so I started rolling half full buggies out of CS where they could go though the buggies and not block CS. Management doesn't want me to roll them out till 8 but when the bank next door closed at 6, I started rolling them out in front of the bank. I guess management saw what was happening because no one complained.

Way to go Mary Alice - Sorry that we need to worry about such things these days.

Very hot in our neck of the woods these days. I spend the day in the house making apricot jam, cinnamon pickles, and Peppery Peach preserves (peach & jalapeno jam). Love that we have air conditioning.

I've been good on my eating today. Still have the evening meal and think I will have a big salad full of veggies emoticon . I love that!

Thank God for little children!
Bright flowers by earth’s wayside, —
The dancing, joyous life-boats

Frances Ellen Watkins Harper

Good morning, no walks yet today it is RAINING, yes there is wet stuff coming out of the sky.

Last night was a first for me. A lady came into the store to pick up a $2,000 money order. I called a manager to get the money, didn't have that much in my register, and went over her paper work while I was waiting. 2 red flags that this was a scam went up, but they weren't biggies. Then just before the manager got there there was a really big one and there was no way I could legally give her the money without a whole lot of paper work and 2 forms of ID. I sure didn't want to be the one to tell this lady I couldn't give her the money without the ID and was glad to see the manager. When the lady saw me talking to the manager, she grabbed the paper work and took off. The manager said I made a good catch, but was glad she took off and we didn't have to file reports with the government. I've had to explain to people that if they are receiving large amounts of money I need two forms of ID, and I have questioned people about who they are sending large amounts of money to, but this is the first one that said scam all over it and it wasn't from one of the countries I'm suppose to look out for, it was from Tenn.

Mutt is almost 6, he has never jumped on the furniture. He just doesn't jump. If I put a laundry basket in the doorway, he will stop and wait for me to move it. Well he figured out he can climb into my recliner. I got up one morning and my recliner was warm. The next night I got up during the night and Mutt was in the recliner. He just looked at me as if to ask if i was mad at him. I was surprised to see him there. Mutt was the only explanation to who had been in the recliner, but he had never do it before. DH isn't happy about that, but I told him it is the only piece of furniture he gets on, it is mine, Mutt only gets on it at night and I don't care. If Mutt decides to get in DH recliner I'll do something about it. Yes we have special chairs. DH has CP and has problems getting up and down. When we go shopping he has to try and get in and out of everything. When we get home any piece of furniture he could get in and out of easy is his and no one else uses it.

Yes we are spoiled with the AC, but houses aren't made the way they use to be. Houses use to be made to get the breeze even a little one, now they are made to be energy efficient and look good, who cares about cross ventilation. That and the fact there is so much concrete to reflect the heat back up.

I am in the Midwest (Minnesota) heat. Turning on the a/c sounds so easy unless you have a power outage for 5+ hours in the middle of the day. Came home from church to no power at 11:00 and it didn't come back on until nearly 4:00. We ate sandwiches for lunch - didn't feel like much anyway. I did pick beans midday. The sweat was pouring off and stinging my eyes, but I dId get them picked. Then cut them up in the relatively "cool" house. good insulation and did have a/c on earlier in the day. We are so spoiled in this generation. 50 yrs ago no one would have the conviences that we take for granted. emoticon

Sunday's Blessings to all of you.

Today our church had a Western Church in the Park. We invite the neighboring churches, we have a band on a wagon that plays western spirituals, worship, pray, and then eat. Everyone brings a dish and we have a pot luck. They always have a horseshoe tournament between the churches after lunch. Lutherans are very good at Pot Lucks and drinking coffee. I have eaten all that I will be allowed for this day. emoticon

Hope everyone else is enjoying the day.

Hi, Everyone emoticon I just had to post because I'm having such a blast with my two Chihuahuas. I got them doggie steps and now they can get up on the bed - Polly, the bigger girl, could jump up on the bench at the foot of the bed and get up on it, but Peanut could jump down but not get up on it by herself. Now they just run up the steps, and they have decided it's fun to run up there while I'm trying to make the bed emoticon I can't believe all the joy these little angels are bringing us and I can't believe that they were given up to a shelter. Polly was only hours away from death when the no-kill shelter rescued her! What a tragic waste that would have been because she is so full of life and love! I found out last night that they are both afraid of thunder and lightening. Polly got so scared she sat right on my husband's head - but that didn't go over really well emoticon so I let her just curl up next to me on one side and had Peanut on the other. They finally stopped shaking and everyone got to sleep at last emoticon Dogs - You have to love 'em emoticon

Good morning. I go in at 11 this morning so I'm watching the clock. I know it is early but changing when I go in messes with my routine and I loss all track of time.

Duke did well enough last night that I walked him for 30 min. He still has problems with other dogs weather they are loss or behind fences, but he is still a puppy and has never been around other dogs before.

In the 50's an adult meal at McDonalds was the size of a happy meal.

Portions are totally overblown. Most of us remember the 8 oz coke bottle. Now you can't hardly find a12 oz can for individual sale. They want you to buy 20oz at a time. I almost always eat on a 7"plate. DH does also most nights. Sometimes he needs the 11" plate, but I think he realizes he doesn't need or want that much either. Every few weeks I go back to measuring and weighing. We think we can eyeball our servings but..... Now with all that said, I am not losing like I would like but I am not gaining either so I guess the glass is half full. We just have to keep staying on track. emoticon

Evening everyone. Portions I am gradually getting used to smaller portions its been an effort. I still eat with the larger plates mainly because my smaller ones are a lot smaller they are like a dessert plate. I have been weighing my meat then filling the plate with fresh vegetables, like carrots, celery, cauliflower, ect. I try to fit 4 different types on my plate. It seems to be working because I find I fill up pretty fast now. I am currently trying to slow down my eating (setting the fork down counting to 20 before I fill the fork up again). Ginny I was reading about the walk and then water arobics after wow. Me I would have to have a hot shower or a good long soak after!

I agree with you girls. Portions are really out of sight here1 I use a salad plate for my dinners. DH doesn't though. If I give him one he just goes back for more anyway. Oh what is a body to do????

I thought I was going to be all gung ho for another 5 mile walk again today. NOT!!! The arthritis in my knees today is very painful. I tried doing some of Coach Nichols videos but every sequence had something to do with the knees. I did get a little gardening done. Mostly watering.

Tomorrow is another day.

Have a great day everyone and a good weekend.

I think that boy band from England had it right - Our portions are huge. I have been trying to control ours by using the salad plates (10 inches) for our meals. We don't even notice anymore that the plate is smaller. My parents order one thing and two plates when they go out to eat. They say it is just too much food. Do You Want To Super-Size that!!!!

Do not condemn self. Condemning of self is as much of an error as condemning others.

Good morning.

Good morning America is on and they are interviewing a boy band from England. They asked besides missing your family what is the hardest thing to get get use to in the US. The portion size, we haven't figured out how to eat that much.

Thanks to all that made suggestions on getting Duke to eat. I combined several, filled his food bowl 1/2 way with water and poured his kibble in. He dives in and eats every bit. DH says it is because he loves water so much. I think maybe he just doesn't like dry kibble. Either way he is eating. Mutt eats his kibble then empties the water bowl. Maybe kibble and water go together.

Good late evening everyone! emoticon

Talking about the funny things the emoticon emoticon do. We had a thunder storm earlier this evening. Lightning struck somewhere and knocked out the electricity all over the street. Our little chi Baby jumped off the couch and started barking like mad. She didn't like it one bit! emoticon

Today I have emoticon over 6 miles! emoticon This is the most I have walked in a long time. I walked up the the adult center which is 2.5 miles and back. It was all hills emoticon It took me 85 min. This afternoon I went to water aerobics. Tomorrow I will try and do just as well.

Have a good emoticon everyone!

That is an old tree! 200 yrs wow. and I was sorry when one of our pine trees died this year. We're having it cut down.9 didn't want hubby up in the tree. emoticon
It interesting to know there been that many on this team glad they aren't all active though.
Maryann sounds like an interesting book. " to ask questions to come up with goals. They are your questions and your answers." That's a think I hadn't thought about as in developing goals, it makes since though.

Busy this week with a huge tree. We had a large old (200 yrs estimate) white pine at the entrance to our yard. It has been dying over the last couple of years and has dropped large branches. This year there were no signs of life - no green needles at all so we finally had it taken down and are now in the process of cleaning it up. It was about 40" across its base. The whole center was rotten so not going to sell it for lumber. We will cut and chop as much as we can for fire wood. We do burn wood for heat. Our adult sons are coming home on Saturday.(They live about 100 miles away.). They will help and take some for their fire pits. So that is the project for this week. emoticon

Thanks everyone for your input. I did not know that someone could be put on a team by SP.
And definitely, yes, 400,000 would be clogging all the channels. I am a leader of a small group--about 150--and we have about 20 active members. It is difficult to keep up with them, also, because of all the threads. I missed a members birthday this week and felt really bad. Just forgot to look on the birthday thread!

Have a great night, All!

It's similar to the "Reunion" teams of, say, "SP Class of January 6-12, 2013". Some of those are still pretty active, some not. It all depends on which SparkTeams people keep up with.

Interesting that those particular teams seem to stay more active if they're closer to the first of January rather than later in the year. I guess people doing the New Year's Resolution thing?

I sort of think like Sharon - I was automatically put on this team when I started SP. I did not sign in on it for 3 months because I thought the Nebraska Chat line was enough for my busy schedule - Then everyone there started falling away so I started this team - I love the team because it is so active but it would be hard if we had 400,000 members on it. I know of a couple of 'old' members of this team that have started a new team to suit their health issues and needs.

Today is another day of harvesting veggies and taking them to market.

I hope you all have a great SP day - emoticon

.Barb, the number of member on this team is from the first day someone decided to form it until today. Many of the initial members are no longer on SP, some have moved on to other teams, and many have been put on this team by SP but never interacted, etc. I for one am glad not all 400,000 are active. I have a hard time trying to keep up with those who are active.

A true life must be simple in all its elements…Simplicity in taste, in appetite, in habits of life, with a corresponding indifference to worldly honors and aggrandizement, is the natural result of the predominance of a divine and unselfish idea
Horace Greeley

Good morning, We had a quick shower. Duke has learned to deal with Mutt without getting nasty and Mutt runs to the door to come in if Duke gets to frisky. I have to stay close and keep an eye on them but can let the dogs out together more.

I walked the dogs together last night. It wasn't a long walk for 1 Mutt walked on my left and Duke on my right so I couldn't use a staff and for 2 we walked at night when the dogs were tired. The night sounds and smells where too much Duke, he wanted to go home.

I'm reading a book about fitness tips. Fitness being all the things it takes to be fit. Most of what they have to say I've read here. One ting I read that made sense that I haven't read before is to ask questions to come up with goals. They are your questions and your answers. an example is how can I change my diet to eat healthy without giving up everything. Answer I can eat an apple for my afternoon snack. OK small, but easy to stick to, will get you on the right track and give you the motivation to take the next step.

I've started suggesting people come over to the chat thread and get to know us. I know there is a lot of other things going on, but maybe if they look for the chat thread they will see something they like.

Hello, Everybody! I have been curious about the large number of members on this team, so I went to the leadership board to see how many were active. It came out to be that out of over 400,00 members on this team, less than 2,800 members are active. By that I mean, posting something several times a month. Many of the spark pages I checked on were no longer existent. Just thot I would pass this info on in case anyone could come up with some ideas of how to keep members active for their own sake of health.

Have a great day!

Potluck picnic for supper tonight. Made some estimates for food. It's hard when you don't know what is in "salads". It was a beautiful evening visiting with friends. I will be back on track tomorrow. emoticon

The GKs had a dress up day at camp last weekend. I posted two pics of them. The twins dressed up like a 'grumpy gramp' and a nice grandma. Rachel was a rag doll. Do stop by and check them out. We grandparents had a great time!

Have a great day, All!

Good Morning. I'm off today. I'm worn out and in pain so am having problems getting started.

Mutt maybe having problems with Duke and water, but Duke can't understand Mutt having to walk the fence line checking every inch, And with us having 3/4 acre fenced, Mutt has a lot of fence to check. Duke just wants him to run.
