I heard on Dr Oz a glass of water with lemon and a drop of tobasco sauce in it in the morning to jump start your metabolism. I wonder about the Dr Oz show - it seems like he has a lot of how to things, but are they just a sales pitch / hype ? Think I will try the water/lemon/tobasco - can't hurt.
I use tons of spices especially cayenne, cinnamon and ginger. Have been doing this for years simply because I love the taste of them. Have heard that cayenne pepper promotes weight loss. Cinnamon is wonderful for sugar metabolism especially diabetics. Ginger is a natural anti inflamatory.
