Hi and to the team, SHERRIELEE2. Sometimes we just have to MAKE ourselves get up and do it. Once you get started and see how good it makes you feel you may be motivated to continue. I'm cheering you on!
It's definitely an eye opener. Even though I didn't eat much throughout the day, I was gaining weight. Funny how you can eat a candy bar and gain two pounds. No way does that candy bar weigh that much. SP is showing me how one food wrecks havoc on the daily calorie count and how little, if any, nutritional value I'm getting. Now, I ask if that indulgence is worth it, and I'm doing great. By eating healthier, I'm feeling better and find I'm not always hungry like I was on my junk food diet. Good luck to you and everyone who is on this journey.

Welcome!....I think by just recorded your weight, your meals, and the exercise is a rude awakening in what your really doing, or really eating daily,,,,that has helped me be more accountable.,,,,Work the site, there's soooooooooooooo much to help with motivation and lots of nice people!
What do ou like to do? You can put one or both pieces of exercise equipment in front to the TV and exercise while watching you favorite show. Read a book while working out, sing along with your favorite tunes, I even watched a lady knit a sweater while on a stationery bike. Put hand weights or exercise bands beside your chair to workout with while watching TV. You tube has a lot of exercise and dance videos. I like to try bully dancing or hip hop when I'm alone and no one can watch me make a fool of myself. Ever sean a 59 year old grandma bully dance?

Hello to everyone! I am learning how to navigate the SP website. I am 57, 5' tall and 157 lbs. Need to get motivated to lose at least 30 lbs. I have the stationary bike, treadmill (cats sits on it) and the Gazelle. They are pretty dusty. I even joined Goodlife Fitness. They must love my monthly fee for not participating. Any suggestions to "move it, move it"! Thank you.
