I absolutely get that it's the perfect heat and go breakfast item. :D

And you're absolutely right - you're making changes that are realistic for you right now that you can live with!

I love these type of breakfast sandwiches and do occasionally have one sans the muffin, bread, bagel, etc.

Don't wait until you've reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal.

A few "bad" days can't ruin your plan... only giving up can do that. Just keep going and you will get there.

I didn't mean to imply this was the perfect food and I was going to eat it 3 times a day-I was being a little tongue in cheek--
Just seems to be a better alternative for me versus my typical flavored coffee loaded with sugar and creamer and a donut or bagel with cream cheese...Like I'd used to eat on the run. I'm trying to make some changes that are realistic for me right now-- I'm not quite at that level where I'm seeking nutritional utopia just yet. Hopefully someday, but for now I'm just trying to make some changes as I can and that I can live with.

From looking at the information below which Cherala posted the sodium is pretty high and so are the saturated fats so I would go easy on it too.

Happy for you if you enjoy this as an occasional treat!

I'll have to take your word for it though :D -- it's not gluten free, has high fructose corn syrup and cottonseed oil in it.

I am with MAIDAMONTREAL what are the other bits though.
Salt/sodium will be monstrous with bacon and any kind of bread product and I believe cheese is up there too.
Everything in moderation though, just not one of these very often.

Nan from Fife in Scotland.

What are the sodium levels and the fiber levels. You sometimes have to be careful with processed foods.

This morning I just discovered the Jimmy Dean microwave breakfast sandwich--egg white (which I'm not a fan of and can't eat on it's own), with Canadian bacon and cheese on a honey wheat english muffin... 210 calories, very satisfying, time saving and so much better than the drive thru! Less calories than many cereals! Gave them a shot as they were on sale this week, that made them just over a dollar a piece - Need to go back for more to have on hand .
