Great message, thanks for posting it. I joined SP in 2007 but it was very hit and miss and it's only in the last few months that I've really been active on the site. There are lots of factors involved in healthy living and even on days when I haven't done very well on food/exercise I've still read an article or joined a conversation. It keeps the idea of health at the front of your mind doesn't it, rather than it slipping back behind unnecessary details like... the laundry... the shopping... the job (just as well my boss can't see this!)

you know, I have been struggling lately. I feel myself wanting to fall back into the mode of eating anytime and anything I want. I struggle with walking each day. But reading your words helps to put it all in perspective and lets me know that its ok to have these feeling and just work thru them and in the end I will emerge a stronger person and healthier in the end.

Live today with joy in your hearts. Be grateful for what you have. Simply being here on Sparks is a blessing. So many healthy and positive things to do here. Come on in and leave your burdens at the door. When you are here click away. So many wonderful things here. Even if it's just for a few minutes you will definitely benefit from it. Don't worry about your eating and exercising if you are struggling. Maybe it just isn't time for that. It's not all about that. There are tons of things that you can do here that are positive. You have to remember that you are used to doing things a certain way for a very long time. Give yourself time. It's okay. There really isn't any pressure. We can be our own worst enemies. Cut yourself some slack. It's all about learning positive things in many, many different ways.....
Here's some things you can do that are wonderfully positive...
Log your water for the day.
Eat at least one fruit or vegetable.
Start writing in a journal.
Read an article.
Simple things that will have a huge impact on your life....
Most of all be good to yourself. If you are like me you have been beating yourself up for years and years for not succeeding.
Not worth the energy. There are too many things going on in our world today that are negative.
SMILE AND BE GLAD IN IT!
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
