For anyone who really enjoys peanut butter but hates the calories and fat in a 2 TBSP serving, this may be for you! I have used this before but kind of forgot about it when I "kind of forgot about losing weight" What made me remember was my new favorite fall lunch - a large apple sliced and dipped in peanut butter The product is called Better N Peanut Butter and you can buy it at Trader Joe's. I'm sure other places carry it but my local Fry's store (which is a Kroger store) doesn't carry it. Here is the Nutrition Comparisons:
Regular Jiff Creamy Peanut Butter Better N Peanut Butter Calories 190.0 Calories 100 Total Fat 16.0 g Total Fat 2 g Saturated Fat 3.0 g Saturated Fat 0 g Trans Fat 0 g Trans Fat 0 g Cholesterol 0.0 mg Cholesterol 0.0 mg Sodium 65.0 mg Sodium 95 g Total Carbohydrate 6.0 g Total Carbohydrates 13 g Dietary Fiber 2.0 g Dietary Fiber 2 g Sugars 2.0 g Sugars 2 g Protein 8 g Protein 4 g
It is lower in protein and higher in carbs and sodium but the difference in fat is huge and it is almost half the calories. Hope this might be a helpful tip for some
The first figures are the regular PB and the second are the Better N PB. I had typed it in 2 columns but it didn't keep the format when I posted the message
