Within the last few weeks, there was a poll on DailySpark that asked people to identify their favorite workout songs within each decade. It included quite an extensive list of songs. Maybe some of the songs on the list will appeal to you:
You know, as much as I hate to admit this, one of the best CD's I've ever exercised to was a Richard Simmons workout that a friend of mine had - I think it was something like Rocking to the Sixties. I know that 60's music is fantastic for making a body want to move! I have big problems with my lower back and joints but I still can't sit still when a rocking 60's song is playing!
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made..." Psalm 139:14

I'm looking for more ideas. My current favorite genres are country and classical, but I'd love some help thinking of older tunes. Here are a few of my choices.
Warmup/Cooldown Years - Barbara Mandrell; Today - New Christy Minstrels; Who I Was Born To Be - Susan Boyle; Austin - Blake Shelton
Workout Midnight In Moscow - London Pops Orchestra; Wish I Didn't Know Now - Toby Keith; I'll Never Fall In Love Again -Dionne Warwick; Old Time Rock and Roll - Bob Seger; Kodachrome - Paul Simon; 9 to 5 - Dolly Parton
Is anyone else interested in sharing their?
