Exercise is not my favourite either and I can usually find a million reasons why not to, but if I get up and do it first, even before breakfast I fell good all day. It seems to get the body into a different frame completely

Its been 17 days since my last log in. Spark people. In New York on vacation seeing my family. Playing the mother and grandmother role. I am Cooking all their favorite. I am eating less of what i use to eat. I am exercising for example,walking long distance and going up and down stairs on the subways. It sometime feel like stress on my legs and back but i am enjoying being outdoors with them. God bless all my friends and family love.

Why don't you try to do 10 minutes of exercise every day. There are a lot of SP videos that are only 10 minutes long. Do a chair exercise on days you are really tired. Mix it up between cardio and ST. After a while that 10 minutes will be a routine and you will do it without thinking. Then you can expand it by small increments.

That's so great I'm very proud of both of you! My situation is a little different for 55. I have heart disease, diabetes,high blood pressure, and no thyroid. So that brings me to 26 pills a day that knock me out. I watch my Granddaughter 30 hours a week and that little girl doesn't sit still. I'm deaf another problem because my granddaughter has ants in her pants every time she goes from room to room I follow her because I don't hear what she is into. LOL. great job on the 20 pounds.
my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 105 pounds.
i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60.
we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

I haven't wrote in my tracker for almost 2 months. I decided to start keeping track again today 8/27/12. As of today I weight in at 157.1 my last entry was 159.3 2 months ago. Not bad for not using my journal. I started using my Spark Page 1/17/12 at 177. So in 7 months I lost 20lbs. I never realized until I decided to keep track again today! 20 lbs. in 7 months at the age of 55 is great!!! This keeps me motivated. One problem I'm still not exercising... I try but with my busy schedule and being tired all the time I don't do it and I know how important it is. I posted several months ago why can't I get motivated to exercise? Someone post back to me ( and I love it ) those who want something will find a way... Those who don't will find an excuse. I think of this quite often. It was probably the smartest thing someone said to me as I try to exercise. Well today is the day I promise myself to walk or ride my bike at least 10 min. then work up. Wish me luck!
