My official "weigh and measure day' is next Thursday at Curves...not going to weigh myself this week. just wait and see what happens Thursday. It is a holiday weekend and must keep myself on guard and not eat too much or a lot of the bad stuff..and keep up my exercise routines!
I have a feeling I won't lose a lot of weight with the weigh in but I'm seeing so many other results from exercising...my thighs, stomach, arms, and shoulders are showing signs of toning and I think that is great! And my stamina is increasing.
I didn't get this heavy over night. I can't lose this weight over night. This is all about patience and fortitude!

Four hours of gardening equals 1049 calories burned? Wow! And enjoyed being outside so much after almost 2 weeks of rain every day. My yard and garden look so much better too! Planted tomatoes and mums. spread pine straw mulch in the garden. trimmed tea olives. Now it's back to the doldrums of work! But next weekend is a great 3 day weekend..the last of the summer..then we start looking forward to the Holidays!

Fantastic! As you can see, there is more than the scale for measuring your success. You've lost pounds and inches, and gained stamina.

You are doing great and your weight loss is great! The goal is 1-2 pounds a week and you are right on target! This is the way to lose weight and keep it off. The people who lose faster are simply yoyo dieters and do not achieve success. Be proud of yourself and realize you are doing it right!

Weighed in today at 179! this is a total weight loss in 2 months of 11 pounds. It's not a lot, but it is something. As well as weight loss, I've lost back pain and stiffness, increased my stamina, and I've lost enough inches to retire 2 pair of pants! I'm starting to get the "OMG, how much weight have you lost?" exclamations from people. Walking at lunch for 30 minutes is helping with stress level and well as the weight. Working out at Curves 3 times a week using the Curves Tracker system is really helping. I can see my improvement with each work out. So overall, if it is only 11 lbs, I have tremendous amounts of satisfaction from all the other rewards in my life too!
