So sorry for your loss! My father battled from March of 2010 to Sept of 2010, then lost his battle..I was very blessed to have my father in my life for for 61 years.. You have the memories to keep you going..and then you have SP to help you through the hard times..Keep the faith..c u lighter

To hear about your H. We just celebrated our 40 years on Sunday. My hubby is still working and is struggling with some minor health problems.

The last two weeks have been a roller coaster. My WH of 52 years was diagnosed with lung cancer in June 2011. He lost his battle on the 21st of May. From that point I've had family with me constantly. Lots of dinners/lunches out, pizza, wine; well, lets just say I wasn't following my program or getting in much exercise.
Everyone left yesterday and I now have the opportunity to reflect on my life with my husband, and also how I'm going to life my life from here forward. So, back on track, get some routine in, the water down and exercise.

@ MENNOLY ~ We planted the 1st seeds in early April, but had peas through the winter as well as herbs, potatoes & beets. We planted a variety of tomatoes from grape, cherry and a few large varieties, lots of plum tomatoes also.

Another scorcher here. Third day in the 90's. Last nights thunder storm was not enough. looking forward to the cooler weather coming in next weekend. However the tomatoes like this hot weather and are taking off.

I find I wake up achy but once I start moving the aches diminish and sometime disappear completely. So I try not to let my morning aches and pains keep me from doing what I plan to do.

Hello, A week since I've been here and it's gone so fast, Still sewing to do! So much has passed. The spinach and egg breakfast was really good, Decided to keep it -- didn't think I would.
High protein, low carbs yesterday and today, To burn more fat -- or so they say.

Trying to ignore negative self talk and get chores done and go outside. Its cloudy but dry out, a bit cooler than it was over the weekend which is fine because I am still acclimating to warm weather as it stayed so cool until the last week , this year mostly.
Just trying to 'move' this week and put in minutes no matter what I end up doing to get the cardio going and limber up the old muscles again. I did actually jog in place last night for 10 mins straight which surprised me because I didn't think I could even begin to manage that many minutes at a jog pace.

If we have another day like today I'll wish I could too! We finally saw a tiny blue sky around 5:30 but it is gone again. I am hopping for intermittent sun tomorrow because I would like to do my 5K outside. I don't feel confident about my ability to run on a treadmill
