This is a life journey. Whether is 2 cookies or a hot dog, doesn,t make you fat! Its a slow process of re thinking and changing your mindset. Life will get in the way! But we do not fall off the wagon, we just hop back on and keep going! Being here with the Sparkers keeps me aware. Have a good day everyone! Cherie
I,m Cherie, Been with sparker for 3 yrs, I like that I'm losing it slowly! Its a lifestyle!
Don't allow those 2 cookies to get you down. If the calories do not take you off track you should look at them as a reward for being on track. Even if the cookies had taken you over you can just get back on track the next day. Be strong for yourself, don't get down because of a possible moment of weakness.
i may not quite fit in this forum but...........i believe and have read that food is food and nothing is bad or good ....if you have stayed within your nutrition and calorie range don't beat your self up for it. ......even if the cookies tip the calorie balance .....as every one said... start from where you left off. we would all love to be perfect .......but it is just a pipe dream...... there is no PERFECTION only PERCEPTION
And the spirit fills the darkness of the heavens
It fills the endless yearning of the soul
It lives within a star too far to dream of
It lives within each part and is the whole
It's the fire and the wings that fly us home
Fly us home, fly us home

Hellp Misudad and welcome to the team! Know how you feel and have been there so many times and I am there right now. We beat ourselves up for something like eating 2 cookies, but what is important is that we don't eat 2 more or go on eating because we feel we have blown it. Just keep going with the healthy eating and exercise. On one of the trivia questions I remember that eating 2 peanut butter cookies was better for you and contained less fat and calories than 2 sugar cookies.

After A whole week of staying on track, last night I had a moment of weakness and ate 2 chocolate chip cookies. Its not the cookies that are the problem its the emotions they trigger. Why is it I feel like such a failure, they were unplanned but still within my weekly allowance. Its that all or nothing mentality again. Cant do it unless Im perfect. This is the point where i usually give up. Gonna try to just continue this time.
