I, too, have come to the realization that sugar is like poison to me. It seems the only way I can lose is to completely cut it out (including fruit--yikes!!---the hardest part, especially in the summer!). I'm starting Day 2 of no sugar and, like you, I lose about 1/2 lb. day when I don't. My question to myself is "why do I start again!?"

Type 2 Diabetes in our house so we are very sugar free. I also find it is easier to just avoid anything with sugar or high fructose corn syrup. We have stabalized our weight after 12 months.

That doesn't mean that the M&M's don't call my name at the grocery store.

I have cut down tremendously but not completely quit. I am still working on it.

Good luck with that. I have managed to cut back to a minimum over that last few years.

anyone wAnt to join me in this challenge? I am 12 days in and am not craving sugar.. and that is from someone that was eating sugar at every meal. You will be surprised at how much hidden sugar is in your pantry items. 6 lbs gone and energy level up!
