Here's my two things to work on so I can lose 10 pounds by Aug 10th along with Catincj.
60 minutes of exercise and lower my snacks:

The last week of June was very hectic. But here are the last of my numbers.

I fell off the challenge the last two days. All h__ broke lose at my house. The good news is that I reached my goal of 100 pounds. emoticon emoticon emoticon

June Goals, okay lets close out the month.

To weigh in @ 152 on the 28th. This morning 154.6.

To attain 750,000 steps---725,435---Not quite. ( 24,182 steps per day)

To walk/run/bike 550 miles---523.57-- ugh!!! ( 17.45 miles per day)

To train for @ compete in 3 events----Done.

To run the hills 8x ----Done There you go, that last week up at my sons threw me off my game. It was worth it!!!!!!.

TGIF! It's the last week of this month and the next two days are rest days for me. I am going to post my month-end stats now because I probably won't make it back until next week.

I worked out 5 days per week as planned with a mix of ST and Cardio.

I am logging my water daily and it averages 32 ounces per day. It's the most consistent I've been with that amount in a very long time if ever.

Logging food daily (on MFP site) and staying within my caloric range 99% of the time.

For the month of June, I've lost 3 pounds which was unexpected since I'd been on a plateau since the beginning of the year but there was lean muscle mass developing because I lost inches.

Am I pleased with my goal results this month....yes!

On Monday (July 1st), we will be ready to set new goals and I will start a 12-week heavy lifting program and will share updates.

Hi everyone! I'm not even going to report my numbers today. I've had an extremely hectic week (it's still not over) and no exercise. I guess for next month I'll have to keep it real simple--like maybe committing to 20 minutes a day. I like exercising, and I can do lots when I have lots of time, but I need to find a way to stay on it when I'm busy.

To train for & compete in 3 events---well today I completed event # 3, it was a 4 miler, all went well, I did feel a little fatigue at the 3 mile mark, however I sucked it up ,and completed the distance in 39.47, good enough for 4th place within my division. emoticon

I'm doing well with my exercising, missed 1 day, staying on track with eating.
Won't make my weight goal emoticon

MUMSY. Great start. Now just keep going. Tomorrow is another day. Give us good report emoticon

LAURIE. One day off for business isn't going to hurt. I'm sure you'll be back on track tomorrow emoticon

ELMA. Try eating before going to the party, drink lots of water so you stay full and taste not eat. Try that, I hope it helps. emoticon

KARL. Be careful. 4 pounds in 2 weeks isn't very healthy. We all want to make our goals but be healthy about. Lose to fast and it will just come back. emoticon

YANKS. I wasn't sure by looking at your stats. We are 2/3 of the way through the month and it looks like your right on track to make all your goals. Pretty impressive. emoticon

June Goals,

To weigh in @ 152 on the 28th.

To run the hills 8x---6 is the number.

To train for & compete in 3 events 2 done--yesterday I went for a long run 9.6 miles. I felt okay afterwards, I really worked up a sweat. I had to shower immediately afterwards, usually I wait until after my bike ride, not yesterday. I was dripping.

To run/walk/bike/ 550 miles---333 in.

To attain 750,000steps---438,099.

That's my report for today , stay focused emoticon

To walk/run/bike 550 miles---301.75. about 20 miles a day should nail this.

Thank you all for your inspiration and support.
I had fun exercising last night, but then my computer died, so today was devoted to getting another one. I hope tomorrow is more "normal" and includes more progress toward my health goals.

Hi Everyone! Hope that the Father's Day was a nice one for each of you.

My June Goals:

I am in week 2 of 4 doing CLX Push Phase where you lift heavier weights and do low reps.I substitute the program's cardio for other exercises like walking. It's meeting my goals of 3 days of strength and 2 days of cardio.

I am doing well with logging my water intake but of course there is room for improvement!

Logging food daily (on MFP site) and staying within my caloric range.

As of today, I've lost 4 pounds and 3.75 inches since starting this routine on May 13th.

CLX Push Circuit 1 (arms, legs, chest) was tough as usual this morning especially when I upped the dumbbell sizes in 4 out of 9 exercises compared to last Monday's session. A lot of work done on the legs, biceps & triceps! The very last exercise was real real slow push-ups...yikes. Weight sets in use: 10, 12.5, 13.75, 15, 17.5 pounds.

My right knee and left upper glute area weren't a problem.

My goals for June:
1) meet mu nutritional goals - I undereat too often
2) get in my daily workouts - even when the weather is depressing
3) lose the next 5 lbs or anywhere close to it

Welcome, Cindy! Looks like you're doing great with your goals. We'll be here to cheer you on over the next three and a half weeks.
Yanks, the month is still young--you'll get there. I usually eat wandering around. I have a short attention span, and I only work for 30 minutes at a time. This means I don't sit for hours on end, so the sit-uation could certainly be worse.
I got through my work early today and managed a whole 100 minutes of exercise. Fantastic!

Hi Pam,
I’ve been doing some online research to help me determine how many calories I need to consume to lose weight. It is very important to first determine your Body fat %. You use that number and your current weight to determine that caloric consumption number.

Go here and use the Military Body Fat Percentage Calculator (most accurate online) and have measurements of your neck, waist, and hip handy.

Next, you will go to this site to use the "Weight and Calorie Calculator for Weight Loss" and use that Body Fat % number you just calculated. Use the “Calculations based on % Body Fat” calculator. The results will show you caloric need for weight loss. You can enter that number in any application you are using to set a goal for tracking of your daily calories.

Today, I worked outdoors for a little while lifting, throwing, pulling tree debris and claimed 30 minutes on my fitness log. I did a 5 minute lower body stretch to see if the muscles surrounding my knees would help it out.

Hi Team....checking in on each of you and things seem to be going good.

I am doing okay with my goals so far this month.

I completed four weeks of CLX Burn Phase and on to week #1of the CLX Push Phase this week. It's meeting my goals of 3 days of strength and 2 days of cardio.

I am doing well with my water intake but of course there is room for improvement!

I have lost 3 pounds and 3.75 inches since starting this routine on May 13th.

I re-worked my daily caloric needs by using two site calculators that seem to be the most accurate to use for online.

I continue to log my food & fitness on MyFitnessPal app and Sparkpeople.com. I share fitness updates with a sisterfriend on another private site.

My right knee was giving me grief so I will continue to be careful with it. I’ve done some research and it seems that side lunges are better for the knee pain than basic lunges. I may avoid lunges altogether and stick with squats instead and I will take this into account during CLX. I am going to start taking MSM as a supplement to help with any kind of joint inflammations.

June Goals,

To run/walk/bike/ 550 miles---183.89.

To attain 750,000 steps---199,787.

To run the hills 8 times---3 so far.

To weigh in @ 152 on the 28th.

To train for and compete in 3 events---1 so far.

It looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do. Seeing as I took the weekend off, oh well what are you going to do. emoticon

As of Sunday 9 June:

2/15 times posture & foot exercises (approx 15 minutes)
30/1000 minutes indoor exercise (including the above)
0/20 times up the Big Hill
8/30 days Atkins way of eating—no cheating
?/2 pounds lost (starting weight 177, goal weight 175)
Change my Spark profile image when I reach 175 pounds

Same as yesterday because no progress. There was a potluck today, only it was mostly men, so almost nobody brought anything and the hostess scrounged together a few things. The upshot was, I ate stuff that wasn't on my diet. Oh well.

Day 7:
Haven't lost anything yet (okay, I stepped on the scale this morning....)
Trying to figure out my IBS triggers.
Still going strong and on plan.

* measure and track my food,
* track fitness: 10 minutes minimum TWICE daily

Breaking my 15 minutes of posture/foot exercises into 5-minute chunks is working great (okay, it's only been two days). Feels good to put some numbers up there.
