Hi everyone. My name is Brenda. I've signed up for sparks before but never joined a group. Now I'm restarting and getting serious about being healthy. Seems as my weight goes up so does my blood pressure (137/92 today), my blood sugar (120 fasting) and my cholesterol (236). I have dieted so many times before and can do it for a few weeks, but have not been able to keep at it. Diabetes and heart disease run in my family so I know how important it is. Also I have 2 daughters both with serious chronic health issues so I need to stay healthy for them. That should be enough motivation but this time I'm finding it hard to even get started. I could use some encouragement.
