Just joined Sparkpeople so my goals for April are 1. Start tracking diet.....I already realize it is not just the calories I have to focus on... but have to try to establish a healthy eating pattern that balances protein, fats and carbohydrates. So much to learn in this area. 2. Bought a pedometer yesterday and am starting the 10,000 steps program at home. 3 When the weather is nicer will start going for a walk every day. 4 Going to try some stretching exercises but have to learn about these too. Guess i have my work cut out for me.... but like quitting smoking once you make your mind up to do it it is so much easier. And yes I have now made a commitment to loose weight and to start living healthier.
