There is a real balance between being a good friend and getting involved too deeply. Sometimes it is nice to just write it down and then read other people's situations. No one is exactly the same but often the feelings of frustration and concern are very similar. Being a caring person may mean that you are not alone but it can be a little bit draining.

Went out for Indian food last night and really tried to monitor how much I ate. I always make sure there is a vegetable dish but the lamb and chicken dishes are so good especially since we all order mild spices. Limited the amount of bread and rice. Weight was up a pound but that always happens because of the salt. Trying to be very good today and drink a lot of water.

The movie was a French film called "The Intouchables". I didn't think it would be much of anything because the title is weird. But it was charming and endearing, and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who can rent a DVD of it. I think that if I tell you what it's about, it would be a spoiler alert to anyone who wants to see it for themselves. It is based on a true story, and at the end of the film they show the two main real people.

I did walk Wilde Lake yesterday. It was nippier than I had hoped but not so bad anyway. There's a strong wind out there now, and unless the air is warmer, I don't favor high winds. At least we didn't wind up with that snow storm that much of the country endured this week.

Tonight I have a birthday party to go to in a dance hall about 20 minutes tops from my house. Wednesday and her man Dan both have their birthdays this week so it's to celebrate them both. Where Dan does no dancing whatsoever, Wednesday loves to dance whenever she can. I like to dance, but not with Scott (because he doesn't know what he's doing) so I'm not sure what the evening will feel like for me. My friend Maria will meet us there straight from her job and that will help me by having her there, too. I will know a few folks. The music may be too country for my taste, in which case I'll just visit with folks and take in the scene. I think they said it would be Billy Rock, which is very upbeat.

Past time to take out sweet little Oliver. He waits so patiently for me in the mornings!
love to all,
Dale

Bonnie, I so agree with your idea of life! I too , have been too busy taking care of others, trying to fix what I could not. I have neglected myself in the journey of life! I am trying to fix that now.

Dale hope you enjoyed the film with your mom. What was it about?

Mary, how is your knee? I used to have knee problems as well. Did a lot of squats, rehab bicycle riding. It worked for me. Now it's my back. Please take it easy.

Pam hope you have a good weigh in. Remember however, the scale is ONLY a number! it does NOT show how hard we have worked!

We are having alot of south wind, which brings warm humid air. No rain for a while, but rainy season is just around the corner in June.

I had my piano lesson yesterday (Thursday) but the tone chime practice that follows it was cancelled as it is the end of the school year here in Japan & there are a lot of graduations. I was able to get a lot done yesterday.

Have a good weekend, all!

Ushered at the Philharmonic tonight. My knee just killed me up and down the stairs for 2 hours seating people. Should have worn a knee brace
I'll take it easy tomorrow. Maybe take a break from exercise. I just have to watch. what I eat and that's not easy when I'm home all day. I don't know how people who usually stay home every day manage to stay away from the refrig.
But I'll try.
Good night everyone.

I have a friend that always has one problem or another. Now, we all do, my last two years have not been good, but I have done my best to try to be positive, not always successfully. But, she has been this way for years. I really do think that you will get what you expect to get.

I send prayers for her all of the time, because, especially when I have been in trouble lately, I just cannot listen to her all of the time. Nothing is ever right. All I can do is love her and try to point out the good things in her life to her.

It does not sound as though your friend is like that, but I am using that as an example that we cannot fix someone else. I have tried to do that for many years, unsuccessfully of course, that was my way of not taking care if me. I have learned that I have to take care of me first in order to be any good to anyone else. It is a tough battle for me to say this to myself daily. Okay, 'nough of that!

BRENDA

I know that being careful when exercising is important, but sometimes my mind wanders and I find that I am not doing the exercises properly and something hurts the next day. It is so easy to drift off especially if there is some problem I am working through. Focusing and being mindful does seem to get harder as I get older and other people's problems worry me more. I have a very dear friend who is having life and money issues and I try to just listen but I really wish I could help her. I do like seeing her and we have such a long history that we don't have to explain ourselves.

Have a great Thursday, the weekend is coming.

My knee is swollen today from hitting the floor of the yoga studio so hard yesterday. So I just did 30 minutes on the recumbent bicycle, with no pressure on my knees. Did work up a sweat. No, I take that back. Ladies just glow. I was really glowing this morning.

Dale, I know how hard it is when your son's finances are in a total meltdown. That's how it was last month with my son in North Carolina. I had such sleepless nights. Most friends on this site cautioned me about taking too much responsibility on myself. I have been struggling with that.

Hope everyone has a good day. And if we can't stick totally with the program, let's pat ourselves on the back for every good decision.

It looks perfectly nice out there today. Last night the roads were like a ghost town. The TV news crews kept warning people to stay off the roads to such a degree that when the storm was 'called off', everyone had already been canceled from school and work, so they just stayed in.

My son's finances have once again reached a full crisis. It's total deja voux to the NY problems. I'm pretty sure a walk is in the works for me today!

Tonight Mom and I will go to a library film at 6:30. We wait in line for 45 minutes or more so that we can get front seats. Mom is so little and I don't do so well with audience between me and the screen when the seating isn't tiered.

So far I've been wasting my time this week piddling most of the days away. I hung out on the computer a lot. May it not be as bad as it feels.

It's Thursday! Enjoy,
Dale

I'm glad the storm missed everyone who was expecting it. That is always a plus. We just had a lot of rain today. I have been puttering around all day. Actually have an empty shelf in the bathroom now. I think I will put towels on it.

The storm missed us completely this time. Last week Tuesday was nasty, but the storm for Weds missed us then too. I am very happy about that. The sun even shone today.

NUTRON

I am glad your grandson is doing well, and that you had a good day. YEAH

I did my exercises on my inversion table this morning, and then went to Christy's early again and did 30 minutes on the elliptical. It is really nice to just go there when I am going anyway, and not have to go to the gym.

Am going to do a second session on the inversion table. I think that is really helping my body handle the exercise so much better. Being inverted seems to be decompressing my knees and my back. I am feeling so much better.

Had a good day with the kids. Came home and made Scotty and me a lovely salad. He keeps going to the grocery and buying huge quantities of food. The good thing is that he is buying healthy food.

Came home yesterday with 2 15 pound bags of Texas red grapefruit which I love. Two big bags of oranges and apples. He is eating a lot of it, so it is good that there is a lot because there is some left for me. He bought me a pint of blueberries again this time too. I eat a lot of frozen berries. At this time of year, I won't spend the money on the berries they are too expensive. So, he is really spoiling me.

Did not sleep well last night, so I am not going to address each of you. Pretty tired.

Just saying Good Night and God Bless.

Mary,
OUCH. You have a great attitude, considering.

Michelle,
Is your daughter excited yet about her studying abroad? Did she pick the school out or was there another reason it was chosen? Has she been in the states before?

I do have a coat for Oliver. The shoe thing has never worked on any dogs that I've ever known though. The strangest thing was: the storm was canceled!! Schools were closed for nothing. Here in my county we didn't get but an inch again and even that didn't stick.

Our state was on the rain/snow border of the precipitation so they gave us their best forecast shot. We haven't been this misguided for years so I'll forgive them. It beats a reverse situation though staying home for nothing is sure hard to swallow. We're not even getting the amount of rain I thought we'd have. The only thing to be aware of are very high possible winds and some slush in spots.

I'll be able to go to the NicA meeting and out to eat after all.
I've sort of piddled the day away.

Skpe is wonderful. Only drawback, is that i feel like I have to clean the area behind me when I talk.
I think that's great that your daughter is going to have the chance to study in the states. With her command of Japanese, she will be an asset to the university as well.

Nutron3, glad to hear your grandson is doing well. Such a long surgery! Must have been frightening for the whole family.

I am having a pretty good day so far. I slipped on my yoga mat and hit the floor with my bad knee. Of course Murphy's law would say that's the only way to land. The lady next to me said at least it was graceful.
I am doing better with my exercise than I am with nutrition. Went to a ladies' tea after class and ate the whole piece that was on my plate. I did have my tea plain though. And have had lots of water today. Now let's see how I do at dinner.

Nutron3 so glad to hear about your grandson! I agree with Brenda--your dog is what?

Dale, is it possible for Oliver to wear some kind of a dog coat? They are very popular over here! They even have shoes for the dogs.

I desperately need a new computer. my computer is slower than molasses in winter! as my mom used to say. My daughter is going to be going to Boise State Univ. for 10 months starting in August, so it will be a good chance to get a new one, with skype and all.

Today ( thursday morning) is piano lesson followed by the tone chime group practice. Another 40 min. uphill bike ride. It's not as cold as it was a week or so ago, so this might actually be more relaxing exercise!

Bonnie,
I don't walk as much as I'd like. Yesterday the weather was fabulous but I opted to get some chores done instead and couldn't quit squeeze the walk in. Today is just a wet snow damper.

Suzanne,
You're in Frederick, I'm in Howard County. Marija is in DC and Kathy is nearby, too. All Maryland members, unite! This precipitation isn't anything to speak of yet and we'll just have to wait until this evening to see what it leaves us. Your daughter's boyfriend ought to have been able to get to his chemo today without any glitches. We have so much to be grateful for with our health!

Michelle,
Oliver is great but I don't know how happy he'll be tonight. Snow freezes into balls of ice in his fur and those in his feet are practically impossible to dissolve. It will be a challenge for us later with the snow forecast being such a wet heavy mixture. We'll live though! Meanwhile whatever accumulation is expected won't come for several hours.

My phone is acting up again today. I dialed my mother and the call didn't go through. And I should have asked the technician to hook up one of my DVD players and review for me how to work it on the other one. Dang. I was so happy something got fixed that I was short sighted. I have to call them back now.

With all the problems expected in this area due to the weather, I don't know when they can return. I'll ask them about the DVD use whenever that is... but I hate having no land line.

Dale

Snow storms that is just so hard to imagine. It never snows here.

Well I was so tired today, don't know why but I have slept for 2 hours this afternoon and yes it is hot again.

Our region in New Zealand has now been officially declared a drought so that means farmers will get help form the government.

One thing the heat doesn't make me feel like eating a lot so that has got to be good.

Dale, you are so dilligent with your walks. Go girl! how is Oliver?

Bonnie, glad you are doing better. Breaking up your exercise is just as good as doing it all at one time I just like to do it at one time to get it over with.

Brenda, you are such a good friend.

Fiona, the heat makes me tired here in Yokohama, too. The humidity gets so high, & we don't normally use our a.c. Hope the weather cools off for you!

Hi all -- we are waiting for the first snowstorm of the year. I am hoping it doesn't happen, or that it skips over College Park, MD.

You see, my daughter's boyfriend is in his last cycle of chemotherapy for testicular cancer. He is 22. This is his last full on week and she drives. We are supposed to get a boatload of snow in Frederick. She is on the rain/snow line.... great...

Other than this life is pretty good -

I got my teaching schedule for next year: 4 Chems and 2 environmental sci. It looks that I will be competing with a sweet young thing for the AP Chem spot. Bring it on!

Those of you with joint issues -- I was having tenderness in my knees after my distance runs tried a supplement called Solgar No 7. It is amazing!! My butt is still sore, and my feet tired, but my knees feel like new!

Call me Suzanne
I live near Frederick MD

Fiona,

Hope you get some more better weather. Not being comfortable makes everything difficult.

NUTRON

So glad to know that the Dr's working on your grandchild are so skilled. Prayers the he recovers quickly, and that the other surgeries he has to have go well also.

I think that yesterday what you ate was certainly of no real concern. Hoping you are feeling better today, and are calmer.

When my great nephew was born, the Dr allowed my niece to labor too long, and ended up having to pull Max out. It was a very long and terrible time. He had pulled his head so much that it really looked like a conehead. Very tough. He was in the Neonatal until for a couple of weeks or so, and they would not promise he would not have brain damage. He came home with a sleep apnea machine on. I do remember how difficult of a time that was, and how grateful we were when he was older and we knew there was no permanent damage. I can certainly understand some of what you are going through. God Bless.

MICHELE

I do have a pretty good life. It is not really all that exciting, I spend way too much time in front of the TV, but I am happy with it. I am very blessed with the people in my life, and in having all of you here too.

Today, I exercised twice on my inversion table. Morning and evening. I am finding that to be the answer to the pain in my knees and back from exercising. I still get sore, but it is much better because the hanging 2/3 of the way down, while doing arm and back and core exercises seems to be decompressing my knees and my back and making me more comfortable.
Went to Christy's early and did 20 minutes on their elliptical before Gracee came home from school, and then after Grisson came home, I did another 15 minutes.

Hopefully I am finding some answers for the pain.

Had a nice time with Gracee. She has a little cold, so she was not as energetic as normal. She was also very cuddly. I think partly because she did not feel great, but also because she did not see my last week at all.

Good day today.

Scotty will be home later, and we will have a bit of a visit before he goes to bed. It is nice having him here, and he is so very helpful to me.

MICHELE

Very glad to hear that your back is doing well. That is exceptionally good news. YEAH

BRENDA

You had addressed all of my concerns about having any kind of weight loss surgery. I am working on my problems, and doing the best that I can.

Very nice of you to pay for your friend's deposit so that she can begin moving things in. I am sure will make a much easier transition for her in a difficult situation. Hopefully she will take a page from your book, and find a way to adapt and make it work for her as well as you have done.

DALE

Glad all of your "equipment" has been repaired. Technology is so great, and can be such a pain as well.

You are so good about getting in your walks. I think of you everyday and wonder if you are walking right now!

I am doing so much better with the exercise, and it is making me feel a lot better most of the time.

Hope your friend enjoys her snow storm. That would be the last thing I would be asking for!

It looks as though we are going to get missed again, for the most part, and that is just fine with me!

I am so thinking spring!

God Bless my friends and have a great day tomorrow

Nutron great about the successful surgery. Just eat better choices over the next few days and it will out way the over eating.
Cooler here to start with but still to get hot later on. Autumn has arrived which makes sleeping at night more bearable.

Nutron,
Of course you were exhausted from hanging around the hospital all that time. It's a relief to know that this surgery succeeded. That he needs to undergo more isn't the greatest news, BUT, that we have the medical expertise to do so IS.

Though it was cold yesterday I took my walk with Oliver at 4pm, thanks to his turning toward the lake when we were going around the block. It felt great.

I had dinner with Mom upstairs last night: all roasted veggies and brown rice. But then I had a fabulous bakery piece of bread at home and microwave popcorn, and finally, I opened the Valentine's box of Sees candies I've saved and ate 3 pieces.

The Comcast repair man is fixing all the glitches I have in my system. My phone went down two days ago after a problem with the TV remote. The cat stepped on it and it looped into an error code that I could not get out of. How that harmed the phone is a mystery. While he's at it, he's replaced my box in the bedroom. I have endured lots of little pixel's and sound blips on the bedroom TV. So ending that annoyance will be sweet. Okay, everything's fixed!

It sounds like many of us are waiting for this snow tonight and tomorrow. My girlfriend Wednesday's birthday is today and all she's been wishing for is a snow day so she can stay home from work. The universe is giving her gift to her.

Enjoy your Tuesday,
Dale

Bonnie,

I woke up at 4 this morning and finally got up at 4:30 because I couldn't go back to sleep. Bedtime was 10:30 and I fell right asleep. I will no doubt have a power nap later on today.

Yesterday I paid the $100 deposit for my friend's apartment. She is happily packing, well, as happy as she can be under protest as she really doesn't want to move but has been priced right out of there. I called her and told her I paid the deposit as I knew she didn't have it until the first of April. She will pay me back. I'm not worried. But now we can start bringing boxes over and get her kitchen in order at least. It is so confusing with family members helping, then not knowing where anything is.

Bonnie,

Lap band surgery is not the answer because, as you know, it isn't always successful. Two women here have had it and one lost about a hundred pounds, still has a lot to lose yet. Mary, the other one, has gained because she doesn't eat right. Too much junk food plus she has had double knee surgery. She told me she can only eat a couple tablespoons of food at a time. I could not live like that. Plus, she has to go have the band filled (with what I don't know) periodically. I think the filling makes it tighter.

I think it is great that you are going for counseling so you can get a good grip on things. Hang in there! You have been through so much the last couple years but still have your sanity.

Rain is back until Friday but the temps are climbing to the 50's. I am ready for Spring and daffodils.

I read all the posts but now have forgotten what everyone said so will check out for now and be back later on.

Lovely to read all your news everyone.
We actually had a very short shower of rain (the ground almost got completely wet) but it didn't last and really has made no difference.
A good day all round but ready for med. This heat makes me tired.

Bonnie, you & your daily goinigs on are such an inspiration to me!
Very interesting to hear about your life.
And yes, I am laughing right about now, b/c I couldn't do anything else. I am used to getting up at 4:30 a.m, Tad, my husband is not. I always take a nap at noon, anywhere from 10-30 minutes, depending on how tired I am.

I have finished my drs. appt today. My back is in good condition for now. now just to tackle this weight!!!

i do not like to get up early for anything, I am such a night owl. I am sure I would have just about died if I found I had gotten up at 4:30am! I hope you both are laughing it by now and got a lot accomplished on your early morning.

FIONA

Glad you are feeling better, and that your child's issues are easily dealt with. That stinks that it is too hot to be outside. Sending you some cool breezes!

Yes, I have some really terrible eating issues. Not sure if I mentioned the workbook my psychologist has me working with.

I told her today that I am sure this is the right book for me, because it makes me very anxious. It is about dealing with overwhelming emotion. As I was reading it the first day, I became so very anxious. It made me realize that I am very anxious most of the time.

At that moment in the book, it was asking me what I would be willing to do to deal with the emotions, and I was checking off the things I thought I could do. Somewhere deep in side of me the part of me that still wants to cope with everything with food was becoming very resistant.

These are very deep issues for me. The best of intentions help, but don't always do it. I really don't want to have bariatric surgery, partly because I am afraid of it,but also because I am afraid that I would be one of those people who still gain their weight back. I know that I must make more changes to get more weight off.

I do have confidence in this counselor and do think this book is the one for me to begin with. I am working on doing some of the things I said that I would be willing to do to cope. I am encouraged.

After I left her office, I drove to the park, and spent about 2 hours sitting in the sun and reading. That always does me good. Mom called and I went there for dinner. She had made a very good vegetable soup.

I am very sore from working out too hard for the last few days. Just took a hot shower and did my exercises on the inversion table, and am feeling better.

I think we are supposed to be getting some kind of storm tomorrow. I am just waiting to see what happens. Hoping it misses us again

For those of you in the path of this storm. prayers for you all to stay safe.

I love Aaron Neville. I will have to watch for that CD, what a perfect combination! Thanks for the info.

BRENDA

So glad to know that your chair fits you so well. I was sitting in my dad's lazy boy tonight, it is one of those "big men's" chairs. I had pillow behind my back and was pretty comfy, but when I went to get up, I was so far back in the seat, that I had to move so far forward to get out the I felt like I was almost sitting on the floor. Very crazy. He is not heavy at all, just tall, so he is very comfy in it. He can just stand up without pushing himself forward.

MARY

I have to be very careful about chairs. If I have to sit on a folding chair, I either have to leave, or bring in my bag chair from he trunk of my car. My back will be very bad if I have to spend much time on a folding chair. So, it is a different issue, but I do understand about your friend
and you too Brenda.

Have a lovely day tomorrow. God Bless and stay safe.

Sammi, I agree with you---this site offers a lot of support. I need that. It keeps me accountable!

Nutron3 hope all goes well with your grandson, too. I will be keeping you in my prayers.

Well I did a goofy thing this morning---got my husband up at 4 a.m. instead of his usual 5 am for work! He called me after he left the house at 4:30 a.m asking if the time was wrong? I looked at the clock---& realized my mistake! no wonder I was so sleepy this morning!

I have a nother back dr appt. today. My back is well for now.

DG,

I am just over 5 ft tall so when I look at furniture I sit in it for the fit. Nothing worse than having to sit on the edge of an easy chair because the seat is too deep.

Brenda, how lucky you could get the sale price on a custom made chair. Your statement about short people's feet touching the floor reminded me of my friend Joyce who is barely 4 foot 10. She is married to a 6 foot 3 sweetie of a man and although he is a foot and a half taller, she is still the boss. I took her to meditation class last Saturday and I didn't think of chairs until we left and she said next week she is picking one where her feet touch the floor. Things like the height of a chair never even occur to me.

Fiona,

Thank you for setting up our March board. It's hard to get at everything when you are so busy so no big deal if it is a few days late.

I went to our Monday morning coffee and Jill served chocolate muffins cut in half. I didn't eat breakfast so I had one and it was tasty.

The sun is shining brightly. I went to the bank to deposit a check for my neighbor who is in California. I wore a coat but didn't really need it. It got down to the 30's last night so slept really good for a change.

Nutron,

Sending good thoughts and prayers for your grandson.

Dale,

I don't know if I can take a picture of my chair and get it on the site. You can just go to Lane.com and scroll down the list on the left side and click on recliners. My exact one isn't shown but it is called a Catnapper Small. It was on sale for $579. I did not research them, just saw an ad on TV that Recliner Land was having a sale so I just went down there. They did not have the wallhugger in stock so they custom made mine and I really like it They just had the rocker recliner so I sat in that and it fit so I ordered it. I can put my feet on the floor when I sit. Most are way too big for us short people. The new smell is going away. They are made in the USA.

Have a good day everyone. Will check back later.

Nutron, I will be thinking of you and your grandson through the day.

Sammi, I didn't mean this site, just this particular thread rather than the other monthly one that concentrates more on a goal and tracking it with others cheering you along as they track too. This monthly thread is more of a chat with some goals and lots of encouragement. The site is the tool for us all to reach our goals and keep on track.

Feeling a bit batter about things today although my youngest rung last night with issues.

Nutron,
May your grandson have the best doctors and staff taking care of him today, and find that his health and welfare continue to thrive.

Bonnie,
Aaron Neville's new album getting released is all Doo Wop songs. You might want to keep your ears open for it. I watch the show called "Sunday Morning" from 9-10:30a.m. and they did one of their cover stories on him.

Marija,
I went to a partial play reading and discussion with Mom yesterday that was held in our area here in Columbia by a Washington DC theater group called Theater J. It was very stimulating and we both were quite glad we attended. Over the refreshments they served when it was over we bumped into a woman we used to know 30 years ago, which was wild.

Sammi,
It's quite nippy out there today but I'm considering walking anyway. I want to work on filing three piles of papers that I allowed to accumulate, and I've got it in my head that this combination would utilize the afternoon very wisely. I'm famous for paper piles when it comes to keeping up with my own affairs. --IF I had a recumbent bike I'd be using it instead, too.

Walking or not, enjoy your Monday,
Dale

Nutron3, hope all goes well with your grandson.

Did not go for my walk this morning --- it's 28 --- brrrrr ---- will be warmer tomorrow. Will try to spend some time on the recumbent bike today.

Fiona, I don't think of this as a chat site, but a good group who support each other. If you are at a place where you've stopped losing weight, change things up a bit with your food choices. And make sure you have some healthy treats to grab when you have the munchies.

Have a wonderful day Sparklers! Sammi emoticon

That's fine girls

Bonnie,
You said " I am very aware of the damage that my weight has done to all of my body. If being aware could make be get rid of all of the bad habits, and the negative emotions and messages that contribute to my weight issue, I would have been thin for a very long time now. Unfortunately, food is an "addiction" of sorts for me. "sigh". "

I think I can relate to that. I get to a certain time of the day that I just want to eat and eat and it is very hard to stop. I was obese when I started this programme and have lost some weight and now considered "overweight" but at this point in time I just don't seem to be budging any more weight. I am sure if I knew what this extra weight was doing to me it would frighten me into do something about it but it just isn't at the moment.

I am trying to find the time (that seems to be one of my problems) to logg in all my food etc and see what I am doing to myself but part of me also doesn't want to know.

I am gettgin back on track slowly.

Mean time I am slowly getting used to being empty-nesters here. I think that that is part of the reason I am feeling like this so not being too hard on myself.

It is so hot and dry here too and so if I don't get out first thing in the morning its really hard in the heat of the day.

Music is often very helpful to my feelings too. I was just watching a "Doo Wop" show on our public tv station. Had to stop 'cause it is time for me to get thinking about bed, and it was making me want to dance. I put it on the DVR so maybe I will dance tomorrow

I would have loved the music you heard today as well. Sometimes I just put the music stations on that are on cable, and listen while doing stuff around the house, or just laying down listening to the quiet soothing stuff.

Unfortunately, food is an "addiction" of sorts for me. "sigh".

That is why I am seeing a psychologist. BTW I see her tomorrow.

Feeling pretty good tonight.

Went to the gym yesterday and today. Had a great swim today and exercised in the water, used the whirlpool, sauna,,etc.

Chris called me earlier to tell me that Ellee is sick with an ear infection, and she is going to bring her to my house so that she can go and have her taxes done, and then take Ellee to the Dr. Both of those places are closer to my home than hers.

My poor kids, hate that they get sick so often. This winter hasn't been too bad, but still hard.

We had sun today, and it was not windy. Even though it was a bit cold, it was nice. Took Diana and went for a ride around town in the sunshine. Sometimes I just like to drive.

Well, am kind of wound up from feeling so good, so I need to try to get settled for the night, or I will be up until 2:00am as I was last night.

Have a wonderful week my friends. God Bless.
