Don't give up Theresa. At least you are losing. I keep going up and down. I lose a pound or 2 and then go right back to where I started. Very frustrating. I've only been on SP for a couple of weeks so I'm hoping to figure out what I'm doing wrong. If I don't improve in 30 days on SP, I may try the SP coach to see if that will point me in the right directions. Maybe you could try that too! If you do check it out, let me know how it goes.

Hi, My name is Therasa.

I joined SparkPeople in July and as of today, I believe I have only lost about 5 pounds. But that's ok. I had been on WW online and had lost about 10 and then I stopped losing altogether for the next 2 years! They changed their program in that time and it didn't help me a bit and I hate counting points...I will never do it again. If it takes me another 6 months to lose 5 more pounds so be it...at least I am losing. I exercise every day and burn 500 to 600 calories every day...I do it for weight control and all the other benefits of exercise; I have been exercising for years. And I am a nurse who is literally on my feet the whole time I am at work. I watch what I eat but I do have a wine weakness...working on that as well.
