RFRY congratulations on your weight loss. Does it seem like you did it in stages? I find thatI get stuck and then have to have a conversation with myself about changes. I am trying to think about how to deal with the after meeting goal.

My problem was I would lose 1.3 pounds one week and gain the same 1.3 pounds the next week. It was so frustrating. I took an honest look at what I thought I was doing right, and found out that I wasn't really honest with myself. The absolute only way to make the scale move is to track your intake and up your exercise level. As soon as I was honest with what I was eating, I upped my aerobic exercise by 50% and added one day of weight training. Guess what, the pounds started falling off. I am 3 pounds away from achieving my first goal of 20 lbs lost and will be moving onto my 2nd goal of the final 10 pounds. You can do it with motivation and honesty!

I was stuck and so I have changed to one meal a day is vegetarian and low fat. Seems to be working because the number on the scale is moving down. This takes a little planning because just a plain salad is not enough.

I am just getting back to eating correctly. I know I have to track. If I don't those calories sneak in. Spark people has a nice ap for android phones. That way you can track when you are on the road.

Even if I take the time to estimate the calories I take in I will always do better. It's the unconscious eating without accountability that puts on the pounds. I put 100 calories on each ingredient and clock 1200-1500 in no time, then stop. But if I don't do a running estimate in my head I just don't stop. Maybe that will help.

I quit tracking my food because it takes too long. I am staying the same weight and not trying to lose right now. Just focusing on eating healthy foods.

Hello everyone, I will admit it has been several weeks since I joined Spark and have not logged in at all; No excuses for me. I desire to get on track with either walking again, using the elliptical machine or joining Curves again, I've got to do something.

I found Stevia in the Raw, a great natural sweetener.

my weight holds on like that, too...

I like to eat more food than the daily calorie allotment allows. Sounds like you got good advice from the others. Good luck to you.

I found when I was really honest I was eating more than I tracked so getting back to measuring showed me to re think my eating.

Right there with you. But I am not giving up and I do feel better with the exercise program and logging the food.

Good thinking but you make have reached a plateau. Try shaking up your exercise program and see if this helps.

i have been real diligent about excercise, and watching what I eat. If I could just get over
this 10 pound range where I go up and down. I am going to excercise more today see
what happens.
