I am sooo happy. Yesterday was one week for me changing up my food and working out. I lost 3 lbs...Bodyfat% went from 29.90 to 26.40, lost one inch on my waist, one on my hips, 2 inches in my chest!! All from just watching my food portions, cutting out ALL fast food, all soda, drinking only water, (flavored from Walmart), switched to brown rice, Molly McButter instead of butter or margarine, eating a good breakfast, LOTS of veggies...the list just goes on and on. I never knew food could be so good and in just one week I proved that with small changes life can be good!
As for working out, I"ve never been a real exercise nut so I made it a point to walk on my treadmill for at least 30 minutes every day...then I hoola-hooped for as long as I could stand in front of the TV! Found that I can actually keep it going through a one hour show and it's fun! I only started on free weights in the last two days so will slowly build that up. I am so proud of myself and that gives me the incentive to go on...and oh yes, lots of support and encouragement from my hubby! He quit smoking six weeks ago and I figure if he has the will power to do THAT, I can surely do THIS!
