Hi. I'm starting my 3rd week, so I'm pretty new at this as well. You might want to repost your questions as a new message, so more people will see it.
I've found that creating my 'favorites' list has been very helpful, as it's easier to just click on the usual things I eat and log them that way. For foods that are not found (did you try looking in the section for foods added by members?), adding them is easy. Click on the 'radio button' for 'add new food' (or something like that). Also, I have the Sparks ap for my android phone, so I can add foods to my list when I'm away from my computer, if I need to do that.
This is slowly getting easier to manage, as it becomes part of my routine. I am still exploring this website, there is a lot of good information and help here. Good luck, persevere, you can do this!!!

Hi, I am new and have a very busy life working,grandchildren etc.I am also not such an organized person.It is going to be hard for me to track my food ,any advice would be welcome.Also restaurant eating is difficult and we do it often on the weekend.sThanks for responses.Also is there a way to put something in the food tracker by just entering the calories if the food is not listed when you do a search

I think the first two weeks were an adjustment period, as that 'hungry all day' feeling seems to be gone. Whew! Gone forever, I hope!! Also, for me, if I make sure to have some fat calories with my protein at breakfast, the whole day proceeds much better. If I ever eat cereal, it's for dinner, never for lunch. Too many carbs at breakfast and my metabolism just gets wonky.

but I didn't. Today is the first day since I started with Sparks two weeks ago, that I haven't felt HUNGRY all day long. I'm ending the day with calories left over, and keep trying to figure out what I forgot to put on the log. Maybe I'm past the initial hurdle of adjustment to a decreased calorie intake. I hope so!! I hope tomorrow is as good a day, food-wise, as today has been. I really needed this positive boost.
